Why the distinction between BP and NBP?

I also am in good shape and my fat pad is less than 1/4”, so my BP and NBP are almost the same. I too can press that 1/4” further, so I get what you mean givethemnothing. I think BP is the real deal, since it’s what they feel and it’s not actually inside your body, it’s just partially surrounded by worthless fat.

It’s not a bad sign. But if you don’t want a longer penis stop stretching.

I personally don’t see why BPSFL is used, you don’t stretch your dick and slide it in after all, and personally mine’s about a 1/2” larger than my BPEL. On another personal note, my BPEL is about an inch or slightly more larger than my NBPEL, and I can still push in farther (at least 1/2” more). Also, the skin around my base is stretched a bit (I’m still working on figuring out how to correct this) so when I push in that goes down too.

My thoughts exactly. If your not over weight, then its like soft, thick skin that can be literally pressed to the bone. And since thats only like 1/2”, and I know she feels that extra 1/2” in side her, I go with BP. But do what is accurate for you.

I hardly ever measure that way, but it is useful for some guys who have varying EL measurements due to varying erection quality. Or for guys who don’t want to get erect to measure.

It is also just another indicator. It might increase before EL increases.

Yeah I can see that, my erection quality varies quite a bit. Hmm….is your BPSFL supposed to be (and emphasis on supposed) to be the same as or very close to your BPEL? If so, then my erections are terrible and keeping me from a solid 1/2”!

No, Bpfsl is longer for many people compared to bpel. That’s true for me, even when I am throbbing rock hard on Cialis, so I know that the difference is not due to erection quality.

It’s mostly used by hangers to indicate progress, because in almost all cases, bpsfl increases before bpel.

I guess I hold a little more fat there than most people. My BF% is around 10% but my fat pad is about 3/4” thick. Go figure.

I need to lose weight. Why isn’t there such a thing as pelvis crunches? lol. My fat pad is rather big. I’ve estimated it to be around 1.375”. In my family, we pretty much always been “fat” (not hugely obese fat though) so keep the weight off is a bit hard. I guess I’d have to contribute it to our metabolic rates being slower than most.

I’m still not sure if I’m convinced that women feel BP measurements. I mean it is true that if I lightly poke my stomach fat, that the fat does go inward without much resistance. I’d be more inclined to believe that women feel at least half of what your fat pad is measured to be.

It seems to me there are as many different ways to measure as there are reasons to measure.

If you are measuring to track gains, use BPEL or BPFSl.

If you are measuring for “looks” then do NBPEL.

I don’t think what you said is really what’s being debated here… well… at least my interpretation here is that people are debating if women can feel BP or NBP, and that we should go with what that is.

I definitely agree with what you posted though. I’ve often wondered myself if women feel BP or only NBP. After reading through this thread, I have come to the conclusion they most likely feel your NBP + at most probably half of your penis found within the fat pad itself. In other words, it is probably a good bet to say that NBP + .5” is a rough estimate of what they feel. (seeing that the average of fat pad here seems to be 1”)
