Why "progressive bends" SHOULD deliver huge gains

I was doing some bends while 80% erect, against my downward curve in vain hopes of correcting it, and pondering how people could get girth or length gains from doing bends. And then it hit me …

If you take your dick in your hands, at 80% “jelq” hardness, and bend it to one side, you are putting a huge stress on the tunica at the point of the bend. Far more, in fact, than you do by forcing any amount of blood outward against the tunica in squeezing or jelqing, and without the risk of blowing out vessels. Try it and you will see. You will “feel” the stretch. The only trouble is, you’re only turbo-stretching the area of the bend.

But if you start at the bottom of the shaft, bending in all four directions, then move progressively up the shaft doing the same thing (holding the bend for a few seconds each time), every square centimeter of the tunica is getting an intense stretch, way more than any clamp or jelq could do without over-stressing vessels.

I call these “progressive bends”, and I am DEFINITELY going to add them to my new pump n’ clamp routine!

I’m going to do the same thing.

Nothing else has really worked for me, and I feel that this probably produces the largest amount of stress, so I’m gonna try it. I can now manage to avoid red spots almost all of the time, so I’m going to try to do some pretty intense bending and see what happens.

I think what you are calling “Progressive Bends” are actually coined the “Sadsak Slinky” here at Thunder’s. I could be wrong however. I believe there has been a good deal of experimentation with plumped bending done by the member’s of this site.

Regardless, what you are saying is certainly true. Bending the shaft while at around 80% erection does cause a great deal of localized stress around the bend. So, as per usual, the question is how much force is required in the bend to produce the optimal gain without risking injury.

Good luck with the bends, mate. Once I have a little more PE experience under my belt I’ll be joining you as I do believe they are likely a good way of getting that girth.

Mike - you are probably right, I am sure other have uncovered this principle while thinking about bends. They may have several names already, in fact! I was thinking: you could achieve the same effect by progressive flaccid fulcrum stretches, if I understand what those are correctly (I stretch my flaccid dick out and then pull it around the sides of my OK grip to increase the stretch, the fulcrum effect). So if you move the OK grip progressively up the shaft to use as the fulcrum, you can hit every square cm of the tunica with a super stretch.

For how long do you keep the bend maximum in a specific location?

Just remember that you shouldn’t be pushing into pain. Erect bends can be dangerous if you throw caution to the wind.

Also, if you start getting a pain that doesn’t go away by the next time, take time off until it is gone.

Watch you PI’s, and make sure your erectile quality is excellent by the next session…otherwise you could be accumulating microtrauma and turning it into macro trauma….AKA a broken dick!

Yes I remember the Orange bends thread, I gave them a 3 month trial and they never worked for me, some had success I believe.
They were done at a lower erection angle.

Dangle, how would you describe an 80% erection?
Would penetration still be possible at this level?

I do erect bends them seem to help a little they like anything else is no miracle. They are dangerous though and much care should be given while doing them.

This style of exercise has not been very effective since the tunica is highly resistant to “restyling,” especially under semi-erect conditions. You have to realize that in reality you are doing very little, the proportionate amount of bend that can be exercised is only minimal due to the rigidity of the member. It “feels” like you might be causing deformation but just like a metal pipe, if you bend it it does not increase in length, you have just put a bend in the material. Be careful with this one if you get over zealous you will be making a visit to the emergency room.

I think it was DLD (double-long daddy) who was doing a version of these and swore by them, and that guy has gained what, 5 inches?

BlueNun - by 80% erect I mean the “mostly hard” level suggested for jelqing. Might be able to penetrate with this, but not likely.

Tomswilski - I PULL while bending as well - I can “feel” the stretch so I know something is happening …

PULLING AND SQUEEZING WHILE BENDING. I have modified this thing over the past 12 hours as I have been working with it. (I do it while clamped). NOw, what I do is PULL and SQUEEZE while bending the shaft rapidly back and forth. What I did before was just squeeze (carefully!) to add outward pressure on the tunica while clamped. Now, I sort of pull and “waggle” (bend back and forth) the shaft at the same time I am squeezing. I am getting outward pressure on the tunica, plus stretching, plus the localized stretching stress from the bending back and forth (which I progressively move up the shaft).

I agree that you can “feel” your actions on the anatomy but just like bending your finger and pulling will elicit a similar feeling; the result is minimal on the area you are trying to affect. I had no luck with this style of exercise, you may find different results.good luck.
