Why doesn't it look bigger?

Has anyone else wondered about this?. I was walking by my wife’s dresser and saw a hair spray spritzer.. I was curious , so I measured it. It’s almost exactly the same size as my erect dick. Actually a little shorter, but the girth is virtually identical to the girth of my glans. ( 6”). The question is, why does it look so stinkin’ much bigger? How come in the member pics forum someone with nearly identical stats will look so much larger? I know that penis shape (flat and wide will look bigger girth wise than an oval penis, at least from the top) makes some difference. Are we just so used to thinking of ourselves as too small that we see things wrong? If we could accurately photoshop our cocks onto someone else, would we still think we were small? The lucky guys, in my opinion, are those quys who really think of themselves as big. I’m not sure I can do it now, but after a good pumping/jelquing session, I’m beginning to think I’ll be someday able to. For now I’m focusing on the feel of it in my hands and my pants. At least for a couple of hours after my workout. Here’s to great gains for everyone willing to do the work.

The vertical axis is inches and the horizontal is PE days; The blue line is length increase, the red girth increase.
So although the sharpest rise is within about 180 days - for those who last the pace/journey the average increase length is 1.4 inches and girth 0.7 inches AFTER 3 YEARS !!

My advice is to try working your cock in front of mirror, this helps intensify the routine without much added effort. Another idea that had worked well for me is not messing with rulers. I understand completely your points about others looking much larger, when I do look at the pics, I don’t look at the stats first, it’s amazing how flawed my self perception is.

Take some pictures (possibly posting them here) for before and after shots. While they won’t show your actual starting size they’ll give you an indication as you grow and if you can take similar after shots to the originals you can see a direct comparison in the future… hey it worked for me.

This is just so funny! Just last night I was measuring a can of deodorant (Sure origanal, for men) its 9” long and 6 1/4 diameter but it looked huge!

The “girth” really makes it look much bigger as I was only about 3/4 inch shorter. (difficult to bone press a deodorant can).

The stats are accurate. I’m not sure if the gains are from more accurate measuring, now that I’ve been doing PE for a while. (or inaccurate measurement when I first started) Any way Mrs. P. seems to be reacting the way I’d hoped, so I think there’s some legitimate growth there. Right now, my best gains seem to be coming in the girth area. That’s good, too.

Mrs. clgp7 reacting will let you know better than a ruler any day of the week.

That’s what I’m finally starting to realize. I’ve taken a page from your book, Mr. Nine, and I’ve put away the rulers. I’m focusing on how it feels in my hand and how it feels when we’re having sex. That’s the most fun way to measure, anyway
