Where to stretch from

Where is the best place to stretch from, the base of the shaft, the middle, before the glans, or the glans?

I stretch from all those choices. When I want to stretch the ligs I pull from the base. When I want to stretch the tunica I pull from below the glans. When I stretch to the sides, mid shaft.

My question is .. Can I get to 8 just from manual stretching? I am 6.5 bpel.

Remember that its the total amount of time each day you stretch for getting good results.

I said I had stretched just behind the head and someone told me that was really bad. The last inch below the glans is really sensitive and easy to damage.

They advised to hang towards the base of the penis making sure the clamps are either side of the dick as you look down, not on the top side as this area is very sensitive too.

If it is best to stretch from the base for ligs, how do you properly grip without the skin taking most of the stretch??

For heavens sake don’t stretch from the glans. There’s weak connective tissue that connects it to the shaft. I tore this 1 month into PE and it hurt like hell for a month, same thing happened to DLD, couldn’t do any stretching, couldn’t even touch the glans. Always get a good grip on the penis shaft.

The poll isn’t quite clear. When you set up for a stretch, your hand is at one point, but then during the stretch your grip will invariably move down closer to the glans, so in what case are you talking about?

Yes juke, you are right, I had a similar problem. I was stretching from the glans and after my exercise my glans causes really bad pain but after some days the injury was already healed. I have posted a similar question but it was not answered properly. Now, I just do jelq stretches when my dick is NOT erected. You just grab on the base or the middle shaft, with your grip, you prevent the little blood flow back, so you have a good grip on this blood filled small sac. Thats the only technique/method I can imagine/ I am practice without to stretch only the skin or to hurt your glans. The only problem I can imagine here is, that you have to make a hard grip to prevent the blood flowing back and this maybe is not so good for the nerves in the penis, if someone kills his dick with this method, please reply it here ^^, until now I had no problems, but all in all I think this is much better than pulling on your glans.

I don’t think this matters - as Juke says there is weak connective tissue connecting the glans to the shaft. I’ve two or three posts where the head has come away from the shaft and someone couldn’t do anything for two years!

And as I said, hang from the shaft (base or middle) making sure the grips are either side of the dick not top and underside.

For the PE God’s sake guys, stop gripping your glans during stretching. As Mr. ZX-10R experienced, this will result in injury/loss of sensation. You should be gripping the shaft approximately .25” away from the glans - for every stretch. Do a search and you’ll find a lot of guys who have experienced loss of sensation due to gripping the glans during stretching. Also, check out this poll: Where do you grip?.

NEED TO CLEAR UP SOMETHING..

When I grip just below my glan and stretch, my fingers slightly slide/move up to the glan and stay at the base of the glan kind of like giving my gland a “head lock” I haven’t experienced pain or anything, but if this OK??

I have no idea how to avoid this because no matter how tight I grip, my skin still slides up.

That sounds OK to me, just make sure you start the grip at least .25” away from the glans. That way, you should have some skin build-up (what some people call “shoulders”) to cushion the pressure away from the glans.

Also, make sure you are warming up properly before stretching. I find I get a much better grip after warming up, rather than stretching cold. You could also try (if you haven’t already) a grip aid such as some baby powder, toilet paper, or a pair or gloves.

Crazy thing I noticed is, when you grip at the base, even though there is significant bunched up skin, I get a better stretch than if I was to grip towards the glans more. I do suppose that however it depends if you’re gripping hard enough to grasp the internal structures, which at the base you’d be targeting a high amount of the ligs efficently.

I think this should be stressed to newbies more. I had concerns about it when I first started, and couldn’t find much info on the topic. A number of people recommended to me to grip behind the glans. Luckily I used my better judgement and decided not to risk it.

I agree starch. This is probably the number one issue that is causing numbness to our members. I started the “Where Do You Grip” poll as a way to address the issue. The best way to get the word out to newbies is for people like us to relay it to them. Respond to a post or two in the newbie forum - relating to gripping - when you get the chance. That should definitely help keep the numbness away for another day.
