What do you tell yourself to keep going?

Just out of curiosity, what keeps you going with PE even when you feel down?
(obviously the want for a bigger penis right?)

But beyond that, what positive reinforcement techiques do you use?
This may not apply to those who have gained significantly, but for hard-gainers like me, it’s a constant battle to keep yourself from quitting.

Please I would really like to hear your input!! :]

This is a great thread idea, first off. For me I’ll read through my PE progress log (on a different site). It reminds me how much progress I’ve made and how that it’s changed my life. It records my big gains, my plateaus, and my times when I lost size. It’s all in there. Also, I’ve written on a few of my sexual escapades in there and how PE has in many ways made them more rewarding. It’s not just the size or the erection quality or the shooting distance, but rather the confidence of pulling a dick out of your pants that you know the girl’s gonna like. Nothing like it in the world. I’m 8 1/4” x 5 3/8” which apparently isn’t big enough for some girls out there in the world, but I’ve heard nothing but compliments.

I wish I could offer some support from personal experience but I can’t say much as I always had trouble sticking to a routine and thus never really gained much prior to having PE surgery and even then I didn’t gain. Give it a fair shot because you won’t really know if it works until you give it a fair go. You need to do it at LEAST 5 days a week for 6 months before you denounce it as not working for you. Remember, 6 months from now you will want the dick big just as much as you do today and that time will fly by. Don’t let time pass you by because it is a shitty feeling to know that you could have PE’d consistently for years yet you didn’t and thus didn’t gain. I know this from experience. Hope this helps a little bit.

I’m a lazy ass, so unfortunately I often get into spells where I don’t do any PE. This really annoys me, but its not just because I’m lazy, its because I have too much other stuff to do, so something has to go. Unfortunately its often PE. The only thing I can do that starts me up again is coming here to hear inspirational stories about gaining, and see the huge dicks in the pics forum. Unfortunately that, combined with how quickly I originally gained, has made me very nonchalant about when I should PE or if I should do it regularly, because I always think “ah, I’ll start next week, it’ll only take a couple of months to gain some anyway!” but it might not be so this time around, so I really need to get out of that train of thought!

Hopefully, now I’m creating a proper timetable for this year (mainly due to needing to set aside a lot of time for my final dissertation) I can factor in some PE time every morning and evening and stick to it. I’ve gotta do moreso I can update my progress thread (although I don’t have a ruler anymore as it broke a while ago, and I keep forgetting to get a new one anyway!).

I feel kick-started now though. In fact, I’m going to go jelq in the shower right now!

I consider PE very boring and I am so lazy . Moreover I didn’t gain anything for months . Thus I decided to quit manual exercises and focus on hanging and clamping . This way I can PEing and do whatever I want .
After a month I have seen my first little gains both in girth and lengh . So my advice is : condition your penis with manual exercises for 3 months then switch to PE devices . For example clamp and go for a walk, hang and watch tv or eat a toast !

I only spend about 10-15 minutes on hand-work. The rest of the time I’m using various ‘torture devices’ (my wife’s words).

As route76 said, it allows one to carry on with the day.

I have gained as a result, and I’m damn glad I stuck to it. Yesterday my wife, “got me going” and surprised me with a ruler: 7.5 up from the vicinity of 6.75-7.00. My “uninspired” erections aren’t so revealing, they’re just over 7.25. Note, however, I believe the first 0.25 was reclaiming my original 18-year-old unit.

I started in Oct 2005 with a Noose Gadget, which is accurately depicted here:

That was 4-6 hours daily, 1 month. I switched to the AutoADS in Nov 2005. I wear it a minimum of 12 hours daily. In Feb 2006, I added the AutoExtender for a minimum of 1 hour daily.

The trick, I think, is to treat it like the gym, which most of us hate. I know I do. However, I remind myself that I’m getting results. I further remind myself if I don’t do it, I’ll feel badly. Odd, but it works.

I think at this point I’m pretty close to saying I’ve gained half an inch, and, to say the least, I’m stoked! Also, I can’t believe I’m working on month six, although I often disregard the first month.

Bottom Line: Do it, just do it…

I stay motivated by spending time on this board and reading about other’s progress. When I began PE I also started taking care of my body, ie. Eating right, working out, PEing, etc. The physical changes to my physique have been quite motivating, the PE is just part of the whole package. I know it sounds corny but I am just trying to “Be all that I can be” I also like to change up my PE program, ie. The “Peter Dick” method. This lends variety and makes me feel like I am actually controlling my PE. I’ve only been at this a few months but have had some nice gains, it’s a challenge but well worth it. I never thought I would be able to change my size but I know KNOW that it is ultimately up to me as to how great I can become. Hope that helps and good luck!

Progress log… good idea. Smiled as I read the last two sentences.

I started out very motivated but things have happened since I started, my living situation doesn’t suit PE(I live with two women one who is much like my long lost little sister), not to mention personal beefs with PE, i.e. feeling ashamed/emasculated that I wanted to make my penis bigger, is peing bad due to the fact that you are enhancing what you aren’t naturally given.

I now look at P.E. like exercising/nutrition, you can definitely get stronger/bigger with persistance and it alters your appearance, at the same time, you become more healthy and add years to your life, and you can function better in physical activities.

I asked myself the same question I asked myself last spring when I initially was curious if I could make my dick bigger: If you knew how to make your dick bigger would you? Yes. Since then I’ve researched liked hell so I have the knowledge and have done enough sessions to gain. So I know PE is real, PE is possible for me, the gains come with time, all I have to do is apply my knowledge.

So in short, go with what you know.

Oh well, the look of my ex girlfriends face at the first penetration.

Thinking of making that a fact for more women (because I am on average side now and I think I was lucky with that girl regarding her reactions) is something which in my youth has great importance ;-)

In short, the challenge, the progress, the gf’s reaction, and this forum. (But I also like going to the gym :-)

Personally, I have no shame/guilt issues, with PE, nudity, sex, etc. It’s another body part, it’s mine, it’s there for a reason, etc., etc. I can imagine that could be a major obstacle. IMO, there’s nothing wrong with enhancing what you were given. In fact, I would argue that it’s almost an obligation — to develop, improve and fully utilise what we were born with, not just sit back and let it stagnate. In all things, you have to like and and be happy with yourself before you can like, please or attract anyone else, or achieve significant goals of any kind. I.e., you attract what you are (or exude). Of course, all of this is predicated on the assumption that you don’t do any of these things to harm anyone else.

So true, plustwo, and that little speech has just motivated me more than anything else so far. I totally agree with it. We should feel obligated to improve on what we already have, but not just mentally, like many “great” philosophers say. I have no idea why some people choose to do without worldly objects or care about their appearance. They are just as important as the mind. “Healthy body, healthy mind” as they say. And I believe that “heath” can even take the form of being satisfied with plastic surgery if thats what you want. Why try and transcend what we are… physical beings! If those philosophers, monks or whoever, really want to give up all worldly possessions, why don’t they give up their bodies… or do they need them to server the universe/god in good ways? But then there’s always a hint of “want” in “need”! :P

That’s going to be my new outlook on PE. Do it because I should!
