I think it should be done almost daily.BEFORE you do any PE for the day.

Flaccid length changes so much with many variables like room temp, urination, how it’s been sitting in your underwear and so on. Is this type of measuring a accurate assessment of progress? I tend to measure BPEL right before I begin to jelq since I start with 100% erection and let it subside before I begin. Even that may not be completely accurate due to fluctuations in arousal levels.

BPFL is supposed to be measured under tension, that is, stretch it out as far as you can while you measure it.

The mechanics of stretching your dick while holding a ruler to it, usually means you are using two or three fingers to stretch it out. This is good, because it limits the force used to something reasonable. This measurement under force tends to rule out things like temperature, urination, etc.

The problem with any erect measurement is erections are much more subject to variables, as all guys have noticed. Sometimes you are far harder than others, therefore bigger.

Thats why in general, I think the bpfl is one of the more accurate ones.

I also tend to like measuring during pumping (mark the tube with red finger nail polish) at at set vacuum level, and a set time in tube…but this is a lot less convenient for most guys, and you would need the equipment. The bpfl just needs a ruler.

I did not know you were suppose to measure BPEL stretched as far as you can! Learn something new everyday.

Oops misread that one.

I measure my BPFL and came up with 8” a bit shorter than my last BPEL measuremen around 1/4/07
So exactly waht must I do to increase this BPFL?

Hey sparkyx I took 2 weeks off and got my morning wood back. I started back with only 3-4 mins of stretching and 5-7 mins of jelqing 3 times per week. But after my first 3 days my morning wood has faded, as in I don’t get it any more again. Could I be overdoing it still somehow? This routine does not seem to intense.

Your likely still overdoing it. Its different for everyone. Try one day on, one day off, decrease the jelqing a little. You may have to take another break to heal up again, before you start back up.

RIGHT!

Its really shocking, the difference in guys ability to tolerate PE. Thats why I wrote the PIs and now the EQ thread…to give you a way to know what is right for you. Some guys can run their dicks over with a truck, and be able to get an awesome hard on afterward. Some guys jelq for 5 minutes and it over stresses them…go figure!

Don’t be discouraged, the great thing about a sensitive dick is you won’t have to be spending hours doing PE to get gains…you will (when you dial in your force/time/recover) find that you will get growth with far less than many need.

I would suggest easing up on your jelquing FORCE. You know one guy may be jequing like slighty stronger masturbation, another may be trying to rip his dick off! I suggest for sensitive dicks (no insult intended :) ) to always go for PLEASANT force, that is, as Avocet says, it should be sexually invigorating…it should still be in the pleasant range of sensation. You should go easy enough to enjoy it.

That said, I would say, take another couple days off…then you can begin your routine again (2 minutes stretch,5 of jelquing) but cut your FORCE in half…that is, use half the normal pulling power and jelquing force.
[Listen, I’m fully conditioned, yet my routine is 5 minutes of jelquing, 2 minutes clamping…and I can’t do that every day without losing EQ…I can only clamp about 2-3 times per week! If I do that clamping everyday, my EQ immediately begins to drop. If I ignore the initial drop…then it really drops.]

Shoot for the ability to get a good hard erection when you are done, and ideally you should look slightly larger when you are done. This can be so subtle that it may be imagination, but look for that.

Now, shoot for great EQ before you even worry about gains. As you begin to get your EQ back, then, slowly, about every 2-3 weeks you can begin to add time…about 2 minutes. As you are able to sustain the new time with great EQ, you can up it every 2-3 weeks.

You should be frequently measuring bpfl. At some point you will hit your BOP (break over point) where you are getting enough stimulation for growth, while keeping great EQ…and you will begin to creep up that ruler. At that point hold that level of PE as long as growth continues.

When growth stops…try a one to two week break and start again and see if that restarts growth. If it doesn’t, then you can begin to add time to your routine again.

I agree with the above post. I never did use a choking grip or a lot of force. Even when I do Uli’s it is a long slow slightly firmer grip than regular jelqing. It is not uncommon for me to do 45 minutes of long slow jelqs. If it don’t feel good it ain’t good. Even guys that can stand a lot of force and tighter grips should stay with in the pleasure realm. If it hurts it won’t work. EQ then sucks for a while.
