In fact I really don’t think it matters much at all. If you can get an erection when you need it, that’s all that matters. It’s not something to worry about.

Completely agree.

I spent way too much time worrying about a lack of morning erections. In fact, I probably got reduced EQ from all that worrying.

I would be more concerned if my dick were cold or turtling, but like you say, as long as it’s functioning when you need it, you’re fine.

My EQ is bad due to psychological stress/anxiety/depression, should I avoid doing PE?

I would also add to this that you should do as many kegels as you can, as long as you feel your PC muscle can handle it. Start light, but then work the hell out of it every day. And not just normal contractions. 10 second holds, intensity increases and decreases, flutters, go with the beat to a song even. Switch it up. Like any other muscle, change and variety is awesome for your PC. Great post by the way

Only if you find it increases your stress/anxiety/depression. Otherwise go for it.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

On Current Decon Break

I apologise if the thread isn’t in the correct place but wanted to get some more low down on decon breaks.

I am currently 3 and half weeks into my decon break. I have noticed some girth lose as well as my EQ dropping. I took a break as suggested by some other thunders members. I’m curious as to when would be a decent time to start up and would of had an affective break period?

Also if you think it’s a good idea to give more time is there any routines to fix my issues without hinder the break but keep my buddy cutting glass with my erections like before? Any help with some decon tips or am I good to go back at it?

I’ve found profoundly positive psychological effects from reverse kegeling all day. As well as EQ. Try that.

If your EQ is dropping from decon then do as the OP suggests and start again at a low intensity. I personally don’t see a need to restrict kegels to 5 minutes though.

There is a degree of use it or lose it for me. If I don’t masturbate or PE for a week my EQ goes to shit. If you have been avoiding masturbation too that might be why. Masturbate, start off really slow. Think of penetrating your hand, not “jerking it.” So you don’t condition yourself to cum at low erection levels.

I want to PE. I want to gain two inches in length and an inch and half in girth. I need to start jelqing, stretching, and extending but I’m not sure I have good EQ. Unless something really turns me on it takes a while to get going. I also never get morning wood. I understand that keeping track of your EQ is how you know whether you are going to far or not and will help you minimize potential injuries so I’m a bit worried.

What do I do? Do I fix EQ first? And if so, what do I do?

Do kegels, that are in included in the beginner routine but also any other PE routine. You don’t need to “fix” your EQ first before PE since PE by itself will improve EQ. If your EQ decreases, you’re overtraining. If it increases, you’re good to go since it’s a PI that says you’re not doing anything wrong.

I’m a "fan" of this thread, and I know that sparkyx said that kegels are really important, but I can’t figure how kegels can improve EQ by themselves. When I had my best erections I didn’t know zero about kegel. I have also to say that If you have EQ problem, in my opinion, first of all you have to look at yours lifestyle, like food, bodywork, good or bad habits, and so.

Then, talking about PE and improved erections, in my opinion the best way to approach is the Linear Newbie Routine.
In other words, start slowly, have a look in yours EQ responses, and stay away from what reduces yours EQ. From this you can build your personal routine. English is not my language, so sorry for my mistakes.

What is doing PE right? Getting the proper stimulation to recovery ratio. The other critical factor is: if you get vastly improved EQ, your chances of growth are far better! (cit. sparkyx) Warning! If you haven't gotten improved erections:

OK Ypsilon. I’ll take a gander at the Linear Newbie Routine. That’s different than the regular Newbie Routine?

I’ve done a few kegels when I whiz like I read. Maybe I’ll start up again.

What is defined as EQ in this thread is what I define PI’s.

I thought EQ is just erection quality as in hardness.

If you read the first post of the Linear Routine you understand that is different from the Newbie Routine; same exercises but different approach. If you start with few repetitions is easier understand what happens in terms of PIs and EQ, and when you add few repetitions is easier understand the differences.

And reading the Newbie Routine thread, there is a phrase that can help to understand why start with few repetitions and using less force is better for many people; is a phrase by the user cantlook, but you can read the same concept thousands of time in this forum: “Start light, build up slowly till you see growth then stay at that level until growth stops, only then add more. The downside is it may take a few months to get to the sweet spot of growth, but the upside is that you will be using the least amount of force to get the gain, and lots of room to move up, and it’s much safer”.

In the EQ thread (this) EQ means Erectile Qualities; hardness is one of this qualities. This is explained in the first post.
