Well I haven’t made any progress to speak of over the last six months or so. I was suffering from depression from injuring my back and other reasons all adding up. I lost a bunch of weight and 1/2 inch in length (even more depressing). Well, two and a half months ago I decided to say “Fuck this bullshit” (literally) and get my act back in gear.

So I started hitting up the gym/PE again very slowly. I even started a PE log. I went from 75 jelqs with 5 min of stretching to 340 jelqs with 10-15 min stretching. I haven’t noticed many gains but my erections are defiantly better and I am close to where I left off.

I also started physiotherapy to heal my back but I am still not back to my original shape. Anyways when I started physio the therapist told me that ligaments cannot stretch and that only muscle stretches. She then handed me a teraband and told me to use that for assisted stretches. Little does she know that I cut it up and use it to stretch my ligs (hanging). Which brings me to my next point that teraband really is way more comfortable (uncut hanging at least) than the cut up rubber glove I used to use.

Finally, I am going to continue my PE log and with the ever increasing intensity. I am slowly going to start hanging more and continue with jelqing until 500 reps x 5 seconds/60 thus = 41.67 minutes of jelqing. Today I also went over to the auto store and bought a vacuum pump. I then attached it to my fish siphon and pumped for 10 min at 5 Hg” after stretching and 95% of jelqing. Then followed with the rest of the jelqs to finish off. I plan on keeping a schedule similar to this. Currently I do a routine every second day. When it becomes to long from hanging and the like I will split up the stretching onto another day.

Currently I am wondering if stretching should never be stopped. As when stretching muscles you never need to stop or else you will lose flexibility or in the case of PE length. Thoughts/comments anyone?

Sounds like you been through a lot but are rehabilitating yourself.

Go slow. Be kind to yourself and maintain the discipline and care of your overall physical health alongside your PE efforts.

Your approach sounds good. Keep it up.

Before: I'd like to show you something I'm very proud of, but you'll have to move real close.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

Everybody is different. I have never lost any length by not PEing. I have lost length, temporarily, by PEing too much though.

I think there comes a time when it’s a good idea to stop stretching your ligs. There’s only so much they can stretch, and I think it would be stupid to continue stretching them indefinitely. If you reach your desired size, play around with maintainance routines (about 50% of your current routine… half the duration, half the days, whatever), just figure out what works.

As for progressive resistance, I personally believe the best gains come from smaller routines. Rather than completely destroy your penis on a daily basis, give it small workouts and rest. Definitely, increase your intensity, but don’t assume that “no gains this week” neccesarily means your routine needs adjusting — it takes a hell of a lot of microtears to make up an inch of growth.

And if your physiotherapist says ligaments can’t be stretched, she can’t be very knowledgeable in her field. The fact that ligaments can stretch is by no means isolated to our PE community, it’s a well known fact the world over.

PE SMART - Quality is infinitely better than quantity. Monitor your progress. Make changes accordingly.

Are you sure it wasn’t the anxiety and stress that is affecting your erection?

It was after that session that caused me to go to a new physiotherapist. Not to mention she wouldn’t give me exercises for my condition stating I didn’t need them and only needed to stretch. She then continued to tell me that if I wasn’t better by next session then she was going to send me back to the doc because she didn’t know why I was injured. Hogwash.

spankey, stress/anxiety very well maybe the reason. The same day I became injured I had an anxiety attack. According to the hospital it was because I over exerted myself peeing. Hogwash. No wonder why I am stressed out. However, sleep insomnia, loss of appetite, and loss of joy from regular activities point to depression. Whatever, I’ll suck it up.

As for the never stopping stretching I was more considering stopping the progressive load from hanging one day. But not stopping light stretching every few days for a break. I may change my mind. Thanks for the good replies.

Suck it up? I wish it was that easy, you’re a very strong man for living with this but very weak for thinking that you just need to “suck it up.”
