unit is getting very veiny

Gday, im back into PE after a few months off, and now i am doing girth exercises as well as length, I never used to do girth before and now my dick is getting these red kinda veins popping out left right and center, they are on the side of my dick and they are purple/red, only small though.

Is this normal when doing girth exercises?

I have read about them before but I didn’t realise it happened as much as this?
