Im on a quest to get over the 7 in mark (6.5 - 6 3/4 now) and have
been stretching 20 - 25 every morning 7 days a week although I planning to cut back to 5 days. My LOT is 7-8 but one thing I notice is pretty much what ever angle I go I can feel the top of the tunica getting real tight but the botton still fells like its not being stretch as much. Is this my LIGS that run all the way from the base along to top of the shaft. I thought the LIGS were just fan like shaped that attach to the the lower part of the shaft to hold the penis up when erect? Not that it means anything but my erection angle is almost straight up also, so I have something limiting me. Anyone else notice the same thing? Were should I been stretching and is 20 min 5 days a week good. I do my girth ex in the evening around 20 min also.
Don’t have a straight 40-40 min to work on PE, so I had to split it up.

You’re correct about the ligaments. They attach at the base. The fundiform ligament surrounds the base and holds the penis in a sling-like fashion. The suspensory ligament attaches the base to the pubic bone with a web of tissue that extends only slightly down the shaft.

What you’re probably feeling is the area where the two copora cavernosa (CC) touch side-by-side. The tunica in this area is called the septum. It’s a bit thicker than the rest of the tunica which surrounds both CC. The underside of the penis is where the corpus spongiosum (CS) is located. It surrounds the urethra and is surrounded itself by tunica. The CS is a separate part of the penis and is more flexible than the CC. So it makes some sense that you wouldn’t feel the same kind of stretch that you do on the top (CC) side.

Are your stretches only straight out? Or do you vary them and pull in five directions? I think if you’re pulling for twenty minutes and doing it in different directions (which could include a circular motion) then you’re doing the best you can.

Regarding the urethra, what is it made of? If I look into my piss hole it kind of looks like the urethra is made up of “skin”. Is it surrounded by some type of membrane similar to the tunica and is it considered “easy” to stretch? You say that the CS is more flexible than the CC, so I’m guessing you believe the microtears occur in the CS before the CC, thus transferring all the weight to the CC. Am I correct in guessing that the various tunicas are the toughest tissues to stretch in the penis?

“The urethra is composed of mucous membrane, supported by a submucous tissue which connects it with the various structures through which it passes.”

Yes and yes.

I believe the structures in the CS, including the urethra, experience microtears and cell growth. Whether they occur “before” tears in the CC I can’t say.

Yes.

I think that hanging and manual stretching makes all the penile tissues experience stress, microtears, and new cellular growth which contributes to length gains. Obviously the urethra grows along with the rest, so it must be growing in a similar manner.

Is the septum tight like this on most guys. What should I concentrate
on it mostly, how? Right now I do 5 min down ward stretches, 5
min upward then do downward again and finish with upward for a total of 20 min, Is 5 days best. Has anyone else notice this and and what
type of routine did you do to overcome this. I really want to hit the 7+ zone soon as posibable. I’ve been PE ing for 1.5 yrs now, got .5 girth and I guess some length (measuring wasnt done in a consistant way at first).

I think stretching in five directions is best. Up, down, left, right, and straight out. If you can hold each position for about one minute, pulling with steady force, each set of five takes five minutes. Rest a bit, then do them over again three times for your total of twenty minutes. Grasp just behind the glans (head) using a grip aid like a latex glove, piece of cloth or piece of Theraband.

I’m unaware of any way to “target” the septum. It does seem to be the toughest of the part of the tunica.

I’m sure you know that having a desire to get anywhere with PE “as soon as possible” is setting yourself up for disappointment.

Most guys think that taking a break helps with gains. Five days should be fine.

Thanks for the information here. My knowledge and understanding of the makeup and inner workings of the penis is pretty minimal but I’m gradually learning. This is one of those benefits that I never thought I’d get in coming to this site.

Also thanks for having some patience in helping some of us newbies with questions that you’ve probably heard time and time again. This greatly helps in having us feel a little more comfortable in posting.

Upward angles attack the tunica, specifically the septum if it is tight, better than lower angles. Try to stretch at 10-12:00 to focus more specifically on this area.
