I’ve tried all different angles of the clamp, but still I seem to lose an erection after a couple of minutes.

I thought it would at least keep the blood in, I must be doing something wrong but cannot seem to find the answer.

I have been clamping for 3 days now, and seem to have had some good PI’s along with other PE sessions I do.

I Pump Stretch Jelq Hang and now clamp all on alternate days.

Is there a golden rule to clamping that I’m missing, I’ve searched all over the forum and have found nothing to help this situation.

If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

Do you use a wrap at the base? How tight or how many clicks are left on the clamp?

I’m going more or less all the way on the clamp it turns my penis to the left at an angle I’m 1 click from full locked on the clamp, I have to pres quite hard and it feels like my dick is going to explode. But then it just fades away. I wrap with a sock or a thin layer of theraband.

Are you using any visual stimulation? What your experiencing has been a normal experience for me with out a visual turn on.

Just putting a clamp on by itself is not going to keep you hard. At least for me, I couple it with visual and manual stimulation. Then is should make you rock hard and fully expanded.


The primary goal of PE should be to make your penis as healthy as possible in both form and function. If you do that, increased size will follow.

It sounds like you need more or thicker wrap.

My Technique:

Is as follows:

Start FLACCID. Wrap snugly. I use a piece of generic mouse pad. It’s about 1/8” thick, made of neoprene rubber. Should be black on one side and usually has a blue fabric side on the other. I cut a 1.5” wide strip length-wise of the mouse pad for my wrap. I wrap at the base, close to the body. After I wrap snugly, I apply my clamp. For me, I snap it down about 5 clicks, just to keep the wrap in place. I then smooth away any bunched up skin. I now begin stimulating myself to around 30% erect, snap the clamp down another couple clicks, repeat with a little more stimulation and a little more erection level. I repeat the stimulating and snapping down a couple more clicks until I’m fully erect and engorged and I have 2-3 teeth on my clamp showing.

If you are below 5.5” of erect shaft girth, you may indeed need to experiment with a slightly thicker wrap. Perhaps a thin, black, nylon dress sock for example. Staying stimulated throughout your set is definitely helpful.
