Thunder's Place Archives PDF

I’ve put together a PDF of Thunder’s Forum Archives…it’s a collection of the best info from Thunder’s.
The PDF format is very convenient (and independent of Word/Corel, etc.); it is also Bookmarked for convenience, with links to the various topics. It has everything (*almost*) at your fingertips.
Articles from Bib, avocet8, luvdadus, Hanging 101, Pumping 101, etc., etc. I think this would also be great for newbies.
The PDF is 57 pages and is just under 600 KB, and I can zip it to about 425 KB.
Thunder, if you think there’d be any interest for downloading it, let me know - I’d be glad to email it to you.

With proper attribution for each post I presume? If so, ok, probably. :)

Some have copied posts from here to other forums that are in dire need of meaningful content without providing such attributions. While copyright in such instances is currently a gray area in law, my interpretation and position is that reproduction of such posts without attribution, or for commercial purposes, or in contradiction of the express copyright permission stated by the owner, is a violation of current copyright law. I have discussed this with my attorney and he agrees.

Legal shit aside, it’s low down to claim something that someone else wrote as your own stuff, or not say who wrote a post you have copied elsewhere.

I’m jumping to “dark assumptions” because some of my posts have been plagiarized and reproduced without attribution or my permission. I’ve seen them. Word for word. It’s wrong.

I’m not bashing you or your idea. Maybe I jumped the gun with my tone. If so, I apologize. The index looked handy and useful. Go for it. Just don’t claim it’s all wisdom from various unknown members at the Underground PE Society existing at Xplace.com. :) Give proper attribution where due.

I didn’t mean to knock what you are doing, but I am incensed that others have claimed my writing as their own. I’m sure you can understand the frustration and the accompanying wariness.

Such a document would be a godsend for me when I am away from an Internet connection (most of the time). I am hoping Thunder allows it to be distributed.

Hmmm….not sure about the PDF license. Would that be any different than posting a document in MS Word or Corel’s WordPerfect?

And these are certainly not being sold, so there’s no commercial status whatsoever. Nor would there be any copyright violations for content, in my opinion, since all the info is attributed and already on your site.

It looks like we’re going to do it. Thunder is going to give it a good proof-reading, cross-checking everything, possibly making some suggestions - which should certainly improve it. (so far, it’s up to 70 pages in length)

I’m excited about it being a good aid - especially for, but not limited to, Newbies. It contains all the great wisdom & experience from the members here, in their own words (just copy n paste, LOL), with full attributions. If I had it in my hands a year ago, I sure as hell would not have ever purchased any pay guide.

What’s also great about it is that it’s small enough to be saved on a simple floppy diskette. Therefore, you could study the guide on any computer (with Adobe Reader of course, which is usually fairly standard since many documents come as .pdfs), nor do you need to have an internet connection at the time. It’s all right there at your fingertips.

I would urge people to read & reread Bib’s stuff. I learned a few things (which I thought I already knew) just by putting this guide together.

P.S., hobby, I used your article about penile discoloration - with attribution, of course, hehe.
