you are very knowledgeable and helpful, thank you

If someone on the forum could explain to me whatever additional benefits to hanging at the various angles there might be…

Different angles place stress on different parts of the penis.

What I have found is that there are, when the penis is completely relaxed an at its full FSL, certain angles that it doesn’t stretch as far at. These have been called “limiting factors” in the past by BIB. Targeting these angles may promote growth and help bypass sticking points in your PE program.

Thanks GM. That seems to make sense. I’ve always felt that I was hitting those points hard anyway, but I guess it’s something to think on.

No worries delaware, I guess it just comes with experience

(but having said that the accuracy of my theory is yet to be proven ;) )

Mr.F maybe heat up before the first hang and heat up again after the last? Saves a lot of time, still has benefits.

Wishing and hoping for the best - yup your doing it wrong.

To be honest I don’t warm up at all, I just put the weights straight on. I know that’s bad, but I’m probably lazier than I am sensible.

On a similar note, can anyone out there confirm that infrared lamps are safe? I read another post saying they emit UV which is a possible health risk, but I remember researching Infrared before buying my first lamp (now broken) and if I remember correctly everything I read said it was perfectly safe. If someone could advise me it’d be very appreciated.

When my grand pop had serious sinus problems, the docs gave him a infra red lamp, they advised him to use it 3 times a week, and no more then a X amount of time, this was years ago so my memory isn’t fresh on the subject. I think they are safe as long as you use them within some limit.

I sometimes use infrared heat lamps in my clinic, as do many of my colleagues. I have read a considerable amount on the safety of these devices and as long as you do not use them too close to the body (risk of burns) the only appreciable risk is to the eyes. It is not advisable to look at the lamp for more than very short periods, if necessary. It is best not to use lamps for more than 30 minutes at a time and it is vital to keep your testicles covered. If you Google for infrared heat lamps there is quite a bit of safety info.

I find infrared to be both the most efficient (by far) and most convenient source of heat for PE. The biggest danger is when you are first learning to get the distance from lamp to penis correct; it is tempting to overheat the tissues. It is also worth remembering that although tissue will ‘give’ more easily with heat, that can cause a greater lymph build-up in a shorter time.

Doh!

Keeping the testicle’s covered, is that only if you are concerned about your sperm output? I was under this impression, because the the sperm can only live in a certain degree range. I have all the kids I need, so if this is the only reason then no big deal.

That’s the main reason. Your body will try as hard as it can to keep your testicles within their ‘functioning’ temperature range, so if you increase it too much, you may feel a little sweaty or sick as your body tries to adjust to what it sees as a stress situation just as it does if you get into a very hot bath.

But on the other hand, we don’t really know what repeated heating (more so than a hot bath, mind you) will do for your testosterone production.
