Tethered stretch

Tethered stretch

Although it undoubtedly promotes length gains - primarily flaccid improvement - I’m not sure that continuously tugging the bejasus out of my ligaments is such a good idea. In addition, I’ve had bilateral hernia repair over the years, and I notice that stretching outwards/downwards is applying a lot of stress to exactly the repaired area. So I’ve been trying out what I’d describe as a tethered stretch:
- conventional OK grip behind the head, pulling outwards/downwards/wherever
- with the other hand palm upwards, encircle the base of the penis with a thumb/forefinger OK grip (with the remaining fingers cupping balls to keep them out of the way) and ‘pull’ inwards.

IMHO, this prevents undue tension in the surrounding abdominal area whilst maximising tension along the shaft… hopefully encouraging it to actually grow a bit too!

What do you think?

If it feels good for you, it’s a good thing.

^^^ True enough!

It seems to have helped me to get past my first plateau too. I’ve been PE’ing for seven months and gains had slowed to virtually zero until about a month ago. Now I’ve added a clear tenth of an inch over the last month

Keraunophile, congrats on the gains.By all means take care of your hernia repair. If what your doing feels good and it’s working keep at it.Good luck and good gains .

Hadn’t seen that, thanks for identifying it. The linked exercise is similar to what I’m suggesting… the advantage for me is that using both hands should help prevent ‘tree-trunking’ at the base whilst also preventing undue stress being applied primarily to the abdomen rather than the shaft.

Time will tell, I guess, whether this turns out to be ‘better’ for me than ‘conventional’ stretching.

How do you stretch inwards? For me the skin just slides on my shaft and I only end up stretching my skin with no tension on the shaft.

I don’t exactly ‘stretch inwards’, the base grip is more a stationary clamp, simply applying the equal and opposite force to the stretching hand gripping the head. Thus the exercise pulls on the ligaments in the same way as a free-hand stretch but prevents the abdomen being pulled outwards too.

Hey keraunophile, the downward pull is first used to take advantage of quick gains. Maybe since you have a hernia repair, you might want to make a homemade hanger and do over the shoulder hanging, and just keep away from the ligaments.

Hurts like hell!

When I do it I do feel a slight skin-burn… might be a good thing as it at least shows that something is being stretched hard!
