Hey Everyone,

I wanted to know what others think about an optimal girth routine schedule. Right now I do girth six days a week with a 3 on 1 off schedule. Problem is, I haven’t really seen much at all in the way of girth gains. My girth routine consists of:

5-10 minutes of Orange bends (which I added today, I’m hoping these have an effect)
10 min pump @ 4 hg
10 min jelq at 70-90% erect
10 min pump @ 5 hg
10 min jelq at 70-90% erect
10 min pump @ 5 hg

When I started PE way back in july I did the newbie routine on a 1 day on 1 day off schedule. That was for about two months, I then upped by routine frequency to a 2 on 1 off schedule and about 2 months ago I made the switch to a 3 on 1 off schedule. I’ve had success in length gains, but like I said my girth gains have been minimal. Also, the routine above is the one I have been doing for about 2 months (with the exception of the orange bends).

Do you guys think more rest is necessary for girth or do you think I should continue as usual and hope for the best?

I have never aimed for girth gains, but many do think that “less is better” for girth, whereas for length, the more time and the more frequency, the better. What these generalizations should mean in any particular case is hard to say.

Unfortunately, doubles, some guys just can’t gain girth or length (or either, occasionally), no matter what they do. You may be a hard-gainer with girth. What are your current stats?

My current stats are 7” BPEL and 4.8” EG. When I started in july I was at 6.6” BPEL and girth was 4.7”. However, I have seen some flaccid gains in both length and girth. My flaccid flacid length has increased nicely over .75” and my flaccid girth has risen about .3”. It seems I am a hard-gainer in the girth department, but perhaps I just haven’t found the right routine/method yet.

I am one of those of whom Para speaks. I do girth exercises every other day and length exercises every day. I have found that I get better reactions (PIs) from my unit when doing this. When I did girth exercises every day my PIs deteriorated over time.

Just my .02. If you are having problems gaining you may want to try it. Or as Para said, you may just be a hard gainer. Good luck to you.

Have you tried clamping? I haven’t pumped before so I don’t know what that is like. But I have recently started clamping and it is really nice.

As long as you stay at moderate intensity levels, where you are not totally beating yourself up, I don’t see why you can’t do your girth routine just about everyday, or 6 on 1 off.

At 5 in hg pressure, you are at nice moderate levels and this is good. As long as you keep your jelqing moderate as well you should be OK. If you have been doing the above routine for quite some time now, I would suggest going to 6 in hg for your final pump set. As always, pump up slowly.

One thing I would like to see you try is to finish your routine by putting on a cock ring and massaging for 10 minutes to achieve your absolute maximum erection.

Do this and tell me what your max erect girth with cock ring is.

Oh, and by the way, I think it is very helpful to begin your routine with a 5 minute hot wrap with an erection and cock ring. Take the cock ring off for pumping and jelqing.

And just to add one more thing to the list. While pumping, crank out max force kegels where you can really feel yourself pumping even more blood into your cock then the pump is. So while the pump is inflating you externally, the kegels are doing it internally.

gprent101 gave you some good information in his post especially the kegeling and post pump cock ring and massage which I am going to try from now on.

I also use wrap my cylinder with a heat pad whilst pumping which I feel helps a little.

For what its worth, I do Orange bends every time I take a leak. I do 5 (adding a finger each time) up, down, left and right.

I’m hoping that the consistent, moderate approach will get results.

Though when it comes to pumping, its every other day as the above isnt practical.

Doubles, I’m a newbie having pretty good girth results. I do a few squeezes, and ulis (starting to do orange bends today).

Well, since by unit isn’t very firm with PE yet, I do all stuff with very low erection level (perhaps 30-40%). Especially the Squeezes let my shaft ballooning - incredible.

It seems to me, your erection level is pretty high, perhaps try lower levels.

Well I would vote but the answer I’m looking for isn’t there. It’s 3 on 1 off, 2 on 1 off. I’ve been having pretty decent gains girthwise by Jelqing for about 20 minutes at a high erection rating of about 80%. A couple of weeks ago I gained 1/4 of an inch in about 2 weeks.

I’m not necessarily looking for advice, just your vote. I just want to get an overall picture of what most feel the appropriate frequency is.

…and yes gprent does give good info.

There really is no ‘best’ routine. Whatever works for you, as long as you’re consistent.
