Hello again folks - I’ve been away a while, but I wanted to thank everyone who contributed to my previous thread, “Questions for an unusual start”. It’s been a while, and I’ve tried a few things. Now I’m back with a recap and a new question!

I started out doing stretching with a makeshift AFB Hanger ( ) but it just left me sore with no measurable gains. So I switched to jelqing again. Here’s where it gets interesting. I started jelqing on January 19th and kept a log of every session (any newbies reading this, I highly recommend it - helps you stick to routine and it’s a great ego boost to look at all your ‘completed times’), and jelqed at least 100 times 5 days a week. I kept it slow and steady so as not to overexert. It felt great, but I waited a month before upping to 150 4 days a week.

Mid-February, I did my measurements. Now, as I said in my last post, I am unusually short - 4.1” flaccid, 4” hard. Well, after only a month of this somewhat-intense jelqing, I was up to 4.5” flaccid AND hard! I nearly fell out of the chair. It DOES work!

But here’s my problem - ever since then there’s been absolutely no gain, or even the sensation of gain. I’ve measured twice. Not a thing. I switched to going by time measurement instead of jelq count (average 20-27 minutes, 4 days straight, 3 days rest), so I’m wondering if that’s responsible. I realize this takes time and am willing to put in the effort, but lately I actually FEEL like nothing’s happening. Am I doing something wrong here?

Has anyone tried this with success? Any advice on my jelqing times from our seasoned pros?

Oh, and another message for any newbies reading: as you can see here, I DID get some gains. Get yourself a goal and don’t quit! Mine’s to get to 7” in 2 years, and come hell or high water I’ll do it. You can too!

Why 4 days straight and 3 days of rest? I think that 3 days of rest is way too much. You can go 4 days straight? Well try 4 days on and 1 day off. Can’t do that? Do 4 days on, 2 days off.

Remember that you can alter the intensity of jelqing by adjusting your ok-grip. The more you squeeze your dick, the more blood will be trapped.

How long is one stroke? Try keep the minimum as 3 seconds.

Are you sore, engorged, mayby a little discolored after your routine?

I switched to the 4-day routine more for my hands’ sake than anything else - going 5+ days was really cramping my fingers. They’re not quite used to these exercises yet.

As far as I can tell I’m fine after the routine - no pain or discoloration. Whereas I used to get a comfortably stretched sensation before, I only get it sometimes now, and as far as I can tell I’m not doing anything different.

Maybe the problem is that I have trouble with losing my erection level during jelqing? (It’s weird, especially since my erections have felt great besides)

I’ve been PEing now (on and off) for about 2 years. One of the biggest trends I’ve found from reading Thunders is everyone is different and what works for one may or may not work for another. The best thing to do is experiment. You said you got some gains from jelking, that’s great. If you find, however, that the gains stop coming after a while you should switch your routine. I jelked and stretched for about a year with very modest gains (~1/4inch), then I tried to hanging for a couple months with similar results. Then I bought a pump and with in the first month I had gained about 3/4 inch which I was very happy with (I’m currently 6.75x4.7 and started 5.75x4.4). I don’t know why pumping gave me such fast gains, perhaps the previous year’s worth of PE had conditioned my cock for quick pumping gains or maybe I would have got them had I starting pumping originally—who knows. I’m not necessarily saying the same effect will happen to you, but my point is that you should settle on the routine that is the most effective for your particular situation, and without trying all of them you may not know what is best for you. I’d say switch routines if your current one isn’t giving you gains after about 2 or 3 months. The rational being: why spend months doing something that isn’t working when there are options that might work great that you haven’t tried yet. Once you’ve tried all, go back and give more time to the ones that worked best before. Thunders is filled with thousands of different PE techniques, the big three being jelking, hanging, and pumping. Check ‘em out and see what works for you.

That’s good advice, xscreamj. Thanks. Out of curiosity, which pump did you use? I might give that a shot - never tried it before, and who knows, it may work.

I actually bought the Dr. Joel Kaplan’s pump off ebay (because it’s cheaper off ebay than their official web site). Don’t be fooled though, there is another pump called Dr. Joel’s (or something) that is a piece of crap—don’t get that one. For more information do a search on thunders.

I really like my pump…I’ve had no problems with it and am very happy with the results, I think it is just as good as the more expensive ones. I kind-of have the baseball shape cock—as opposed to tree trunk, so I don’t mind the slight increase in diameter of the tube as it gets lower to the base.

You should definitely read a lot of info about pumping, here at thunders, before you buy a pump. Don’t waste money on a electronic one, absolutely not worth it at all. I think manual-pumping gives you more control anyway.
