Stretching With Hand Throughout The Day

(I don’t recall reading this thread before or have found it so if this is a dupe thread, then please do as you feel best)

I’ve come back to PE after around a 6 month break, hopefully it will recondition my penis and allow it to grow further again, as one of the reasons I stopped earlier is that it seemed to have platued and reached a limit with how much length it would increase by.

Now, as well as picking up my old routine to get started again, I will also stretch my flaccid penis with my hand when I am sitting at home working on my computer or watching TV etc. I will do this whenever I can in the afternoon or evening for different periods of time. Sometimes 10 minutes, sometimes over an hour.

As I feel I need to give my penis an extra intense stretch and push on top of my normal sessions of 20 mins Heat, Stretch, then Jelq. (60 mins total)

I just want to ask if this is considered a good thing to do, or what variations can be done to this method? I was thinking about hanging but as I have the time at home now, I wonder if this habit I’ve developed of pulling my penis with my hand with varying intensities is adequate to give it the extra stretch needed to gain extra length?

Many people do this, either with manual stretches, an extender, or an ADS system. I tried adding an ADS device to my normal routine, and it didn’t do much for me. But it is worth a try, can’t do any harm, and may help you.

I do it as well. Mostly at night while watching a movie. Get a good comfortable stretch and will sometimes hold it for 20+ minutes without even noticing.

Can’t say if it helps or not with any sort of gains

I do this too. It doesn’t seem to have given me any length gains erect but flaccid hang is always better since I’ve started doing this.

I do four way pulls throughout the day as a matter of course.

I’ve done this for the last six months along with pumping and I’ve seen between 1/8” and 3/16” length gain in that time.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

What direction are your 4 way pulls?

Do you guys think it is better to stretch upwards for example?

Would be nice to stretch with a warm hand or some heat source. Wish there was a heated glove I could use to aid stretching.

The four ways are up, down and left and right.

I vary the intensity of the stretch depending on my flaccid hang length.

Sometimes I’m over 5 inches flaccid and so I pull hard, but occasionally my unit is nearly turtling and resists my efforts. .

Usually turtling is an indication of fatigue and a clue to rest a day or two

I tried this for a while but for me it didn’t work.

There are 2 general types of PE that have proven to work, intense PE sessions followed by rest (Stretching, hanging, jelquing etc) and gentle along duration methods that require less rest (ADS, pumping)

I think that doing too much intensity during the day doesn’t give your body the time to repair and adjust to these new stresses that are being imposed upon it, rather than giving it time for micro tears to fill in with the same kind of material, the tears may get to big for this if you vigorously tug away several times per day and you’ll end up getting scar tissue filling in the gaps which will toughen up your penis and really slow down gains.

Hmmm, I wonder. I did a little bit of stretching during the day like when I’m watching TV as well as my normal Penis Exercises. But on the last 2 measurements I did (just now) and a few days ago, I’m actually a little bit shorter in length than normal. I’m not sure if this is just that sometimes I am a bit shorter and longer on measuring, or if this is my length being affected by doing this extra stretching or something else. (Such as I haven’t Kegelled for a while)

Then again I haven’t measured myself the last few weeks except for 1 other recent occasion (was at my normal length).

So I wonder if the extra stretching is working for or against me, when I’ve only done a little bit of it (like 10 or 20 minutes on some, not all, days)?

Yeah I’m hoping that this is what the case is and it’s not something to get over concerned about. I’ll keep measuring as the days go by and hope length increases though I have my doubts right now. We’ll see.

I do wonder (to keep this on topic) if extra stretches throughout the day on top of the normal PE could be bad for length increase and overwork the penis to stop increases or create length decreases too?

Maybe a short break would help?

A week or so sometimes is enough to restore most hormonal functions.

Maybe. Day off tomorrow, may take an extra day off on top of that, monitor erection lengths, see how it goes. Sometimes I work my penis so hard with no sign of improvement it feels I’m banging it on a ceiling and it can’t get through it to increase length. But I swear I’ve never seen it fall so much below it’s length like it is now.

Try a week and see what happens.

Sometimes trying too hard is just that.

It’s really tempting to PE all of the time, and it’s really easy to think the more time you spend the more gains you will have. From my own (albeit limited) experience and everything I’ve read, there’s definitely not a consensus at all that more is more.

I’ve been doing manual stretching and jelqing for this past month. That’s not very long, but for what it’s worth I think I’m having better results just doing my workouts over a few hours in the evenings before bed and then letting myself recover throughout the next 24 hours. I come home from work and find that my BPFSL is pretty much at its longest!

Of course everyone is different, but anecdotally I’ve not had success trying to PE all day. I think I need the solid block of recovery time.
