Hi guys, which stretching direction, do you think, is the most effective one? I think pulling forward stretches the ligs the best… Stretching downwards is simulating the weight hanging which must be made for much longer durations to be effective I think… Left/right and up stretching must be the least contributing I guess(but still they shouldn’t be ignored). Am I right?

teoman, I think every direction is important. When doing traditional stretches I like to stretch far left, far right, straight out, straight down, straight up and rotary. I have not done these stretches in a long time but in the first 6 months of my program I did and got very good results.

I would concur that stretching out is probably the most important, but all directions need to be incorporated into your routine.
