Stretching how much weight?

How much weight is stretching equivilant to? I know this is very variable, but I’d like to know an approximate.

Some days I must be exerting over 50 pounds of static contraction tension. The only limitation is penile grip comfort, otherwise I usually end up with at least a few sets of max pressure, sort of ramping and peaking towards the end of the stretch.

Must . Not . PE . Until . Fully . Healed. Rinse. Repeat.

I think that the only way to gauge a stretch load with any true degree of precision is by hanging.

All I can tell you is that hanging 5lbs off my penis after stretching feels like absolutely nothing. I don’t know about androNYCs estimate of 50 pounds (and like u said it will vary), but this might be the right ballpark. Where is a tension-o-meter when you need one?

Let me note that I estimated on the basis of comparison with a 50# fixed weight contracted statically in an analogous position- DB hammer curl across the midline. At 90 degrees the position is dead on front of the dickie. The tension feels the same, and I begin to ‘“fail” at about the same rate. Thus an educated guesstimate.

What makes stretching special is the ability to isolate and manipulate how the force is transmitted to and exerted upon the dickie. Twisties, O-bends, A & V stretches magnify the actual force exerted. Applying the Redi with a mere 8 or even 16# doesn’t seem ‘heavy’ so much as a timed comfort challenge to the application site, what with glans bloat, skin slippage, printing the application device’s face onto the skin- and I’m the Redi’s biggest fan. When I’m done with a serious stretch session my arms are pumped and wiped.

Perhaps a slight digression from your original query, but I guess I don’t know that there really can be a straight line comparison between hanging poundages and stretching forces.

The method for ‘testing’ the force supposes that

A.) the method for applying tension will be applied in the exact same way and location.
Even though the Redi is designed to do double duty as a hand applied stretcher, I have yet to find a more comfortable tool for applying force to the tool than my own hands.

B.) max dickie length under tension is infinitely expandable depending upon the tension applied.
I can’t see a measurable difference in the stretched length between 8# and 16#- I checked out of idle curiosity when I first got the Redi. And while I may ‘feel’ a difference internally I can’t see a difference.

Anyhow, I can understand the desire to measure and record force applied, but practically speaking I don’t know that such variables can be controlled for.

Interesting! I began an interval stretching routine about 2 months ago as an attempt to avoid losing erect length during extended periods when I could not hang or jelq. I stretch for about 1 minute approximately 8 times per day. This always includes a session right before bed and another session just after getting out of bed in the morning. The stretch is fairly intense with no warm-up or moist heat. I would estimate that the force exerted is around 30 to 40 lbs. This is my substitute for an ADS device and I have found that it is effective in helping me to avoid the losses in erect length that I suffered during previous PE breaks. I always stretch when I go to the bathroom to urinate.

I remember Bigger (Bib) telling me that he always hung just before bed and then started again soon after getting up in the morning. I have started hanging again and have crept back over 8” nbp. I have a feeling that I could make more gains if I ramp up my hanging and continue with the interval stretching.

I feel strongly that some sort of ADS or interval stretching routine is necessary to achieve bigger gains (1.5 inches and above).

I would be interested to see what would happen if others tried this approach.

I’ve been applying the same methods! I stretch for 1 minute everytime I go to the bathroom, about 10-15 times per day. As well as, hanging for 1 hour. I plan to ad an ads at the end of the month, I’m thinking the autoextender. I’m really trying to attack length.

Plenty of fiber in your diet I guess. ;)

I don’t know how you guys get a good enough grip with your hands to exert these kinds of forces. Only if I wrap my dick in Theraband can I pull on it very hard (same thing is true if I’m using a hanger).

I drink a lot of fluids. Everytime I go to the restroom. E.G. Wash hands, fix hair, look at cock etc…

If it is of any worth, Dr. Giunta recommends 3-4 minutes of stretching every 2 hours.

You ever tried baby power PG? I was very pleasantly suprised with the grip I was able to achieve using some powder.
