Stiff And Sore Because Of Xsleeve Only?

Stiff And Sore Because Of Xsleeve Only?

Hey guys,

I have been noticing that since i started wearing xsleeves all the time during the day that my flaccid is stiff. I was still doing regular PE at first but I’ve been almost non-PEing during the last 2 weeks because of work. So i thought that the stiff flaccid would get better but it didn’t.

I have tried all sleeves but one and only the softest and thinest one would give me a good flaccid when i removed it. But the sleeve teared up and is gone now..

Is it normal and am i pushing too hard? I have it on during all waking hours because i turtle too much without it..

My gut reaction is that what you’re experiencing would properly be in the injury forum.

Urological science doesn’t seem to have a clear grasp on what “hard flaccid” really is and what causes it, but at least they are beginning to recognize it as a real phenomenon. The quickie search that I did lead to thins suggesting that emotional stress and physical injury may be precursors to the condition. There is reference made to prolonged contraction of the pelvic muscles and to myofascial syndrome as possible etiologies.

My gut says that you’ve over-trained and the various tissues are responding as they’re supposed to, as a mechanism to prevent injury.

Try taking a decon break and maybe sitting around, relaxing, in a hot tub or something to try to induce relaxation.

Conditioning.

I wouldn’t sweat it too much Phoniex. Cut the time you you wear it in half or more until your comfortable. Stay at this time for a while until it become effortless and begin to slowly add to your time. This will vary from person to person

Thanks guys, sorry i never saw your posts in the new posts menu.

Yeah i probably am overtrained. I ripped the sleeve i was wearing and now just have the soft large sleeve left. It helps so i guess i need soft sleeves and less time into them.

LG, yeah i was waiting to order a hanger to get your sleeves to save on shipping costs. I really hope that your sleeves don’t tear as easily as the ones i have now.

Thanks PhoenixNow for your interest in our system and products.
When it comes to the quality of our silicon sleeves and girth bands we have gone to great lengths to produce a high quality, tear resistant product. About the only way you could tear one of our sleeves is to intentionally take a pair of scissors or razor blade and make a starter cut vertically lengthwise and then pull it apart.

Do they stretch out over time or do the remain there original size after repeated use?

rubber resilience

They remain the same size, although after several months of use the rubber’s resilience will loosen up, meaning you’ll be able to stretch it even more.
Rubber maintenance will help promote longevity. I recommend cleaning your rubber after approximately 40 hours of use. Simply wash the rubber under warm / hot water with some anti-bacterial dish soap, rinse and either blow dry with a hair dryer, or dry with a clean cotton towel (don’t use paper towels as they have too much lint). I like to blow dry mine with an air compressor, or set them on the heater vent in the winter. It will help restore the rubber’s tackiness and resilience.

Don’t use any oils, lotions or petroleum products with your rubber. It will deteriorate the silicon.
