Ok… like I just said on the previous page… people are taking the title too literally… and eight hours does seem like a bit much, lol.

With something like horny goat weed though you could keep a really hard erection for say an hour or an hour and a half while either ballooning or lightly clamping. Another member here was doing this (without any supplements) and reported amazing gains… I could just never keep an erection for an entire hour without the help of something.

I was under the impression that, with a priapism, there is so little blood leaving the penis that you get a clamping effect i.e., blood comes in but hardly any goes out. Under those conditions, blood pools and the tunica must expand, causing megalophallus, but the tissue also dies eventually.

PE clamping does the same thing only in more severe, shorter episodes. I think, to get the priapism effect, you could do the four hour viagra-trip but add a cock ring to limit blood outflow.

Yes exactly… but you’d want to be very careful you didn’t overdo it.

Just for the record: there are two forms of priapism - high flow and low flow. Low flow is more common, and is the kind you’re describing. High flow is less common, and is generally the result of physical damage to arteries, resulting in lots of well oxygenated blood in, faster than it’s draining out.

I am a patient of a Dr. Adams in Toronto, ON who advised me that priapism which obstructs the outflow of blood in the penis can cause release of TGF-B1 which increase collagen deposition and makes the tunica tougher to stretch hence making future gains harder. If you feel any pain during the priapism that is mostly due to the blood’s PH level dropping below 7. It is called acidosis. This is not good for gains.

Without looking up the references right now, I believe that Ozzy83 is correct. Here’s at least one link that directly supports his assertion. Low oxygen state seems to promote collagen deposition. Low oxygen state has been associated with Peyronie’s Disease. If priapism results sometimes in larger penis size, I believe it is working through some mechanism other than low oxygen state.

By the way, on the page http://www.peyroniesassociation.org…rchived_Answers, there is an interesting quote that supports the philosophy of ‘never let it turtle’:

Does it mean that if we maintain PH above 7 gains will be faster? The higher PH level the better for gains?

None of the natural remedies have anything near the same effect as Viagra or Cialis. A lot of people take them and can’t tell the difference.

Wherever I go I think about sex. It really brings up that old saying of men thinking about sex every few seconds. Things that would usually seem normal to me take a sexual light…its actually quite scary to see that instinctual side come out.
Another thing is that I work part time as a nightclub doorman, so seeing alot of women dressed as they do doesnt help while ballooning the way I do.
So, although the thought of going for a few days in the same 1hr stints does appeal to me because I think it really would help with gains when combined with PE exercises. I don’t think its practical, at least not until I can completely get my mind off the issue when doing other things and trying to sleep.

Normal blood pH is about 7.35. Your body tries very hard to keep it around 7.35, and it’s not safe to try to change it by much. In any case, I haven’t heard of any PE advantage to an altered pH.

A higher pH just means that your blood is more alkaline. (Lower pH is more acidic.) Higher is not ‘better’.

This reminds me of the theory behind sickle cell anemia which can cause priapism, and is more prevalent in black men- theory being why there are some many allegedly big black guys.

A few years ago I was suggesting that wearing a cock ring at night sleeping could possibly lead to gains, having it just tight enough to cause and expanded erection. Over the last few years I have been doing it on and off with no real PE work in that time, I have not lost any gains, in fact am a tiny bit bigger, possibly due to a lower body fat level. I have no real way of telling but I suspect the erection is maintained for hours at night this way, I have at times woken due to pain, not really pain but just being uncomfortable in my sleep. I was also suggesting viagra to fully maintain this erection at night.

-of course unsupervised methods in your sleep could be extremely dangerous, you do not want to wake up to a dead dick…


The "average size" is usually over-estimated. Small guys don't take part in surveys and big guys jump at the chance.

To update, I don’t know if it was the copious weed usage, too much hanging, or both (most likely). I’ve cut my hanging to every other day. It’s impossible to tell if night time erections made me grow any as I am still doing light PE.
