Silicone Sleeves - Make your own

I may play around with different methods this time too since I still have plenty left from the first time.

You could possibly make one thicker with a smaller inner diameter to use as a cock ring. I use some silicone rings I got from amazon for a few bucks that work really well though (search for “6 silicone cock ring”. they used to have them all in black).

I also use these sleeves for hanging. They provide a nice comfortable wrap (two of them with the outer one covering my glands).

thanks for your answer.
I have read about release agents(sprays) that might be able to do that but its probably easier to just make a clean cut into the pipe.

I can get 0,9kg(=1.9lbs) for an ok price(30 euro). Would this be enough to make some sleeves? Did you get the ecoflex 30 again?

I want to make a sleeve that is my bpfsl length to use it as an ADS. I plan to make them in different strengths/thickness.

As I understand I will be able to roll them down to the base so they might act as a sort of clamp/constrictor/cockring?

Basicly I want to use them as an ADS and when I want to I roll one over itself (down to the base) so they act as an all day / constrictor. Then roll them out to act as an ads again. So two in one.

It would also be handy to have them as a wrapping/padding alternative to apply a clamp(maybe a cloth around so they dont get cut) at the base.

Hope you chime in into my thoughts.

You may want to try out the dragon skin if that’s what you’re attempting. From what I understand it’s not nearly as stretchy and retains it’s original elasticity better but can be more difficult to roll. The ecoflex does “break in” for better lack of words. If you want to make them to keep you at your bpfsl, then ecoflex-30 won’t do that. Your glands will just squeeze in to them and eventually retract within the sleeve. I’ve found just the right length to keep me extended as much as possible while avoiding this and it’s helped quite a bit with healing after a workout and turtling.

The wrapping/padding works great and I use them for that when I hang as mentioned before. That trial kit from smooth-on is 2lbs and made more than 20 sleeves last time (with another 10 or so in trial and error ones) so you should be good. I did order the eco-30 again this time.

This is all very interesting. I’ve been using an ADS from eBay for sometime and like it, I’d like to make one but am going to have to figure out how to do it. The inside diameter isn’t the same, along the lip it is a smaller diameter than the rest of the cup. I’ve got some ideas, just need to get the materials and head out to the garage. One idea is using 1/2” PVC and filling it with one of those putties they sell at Home Depot, it’s a 2 part that you kneed to mix. It sets up hard as a rock and can be used to patch PVC plumbing. I would need to sand down and shape the end of the PVC that connects to the bottom cap, once I start sanding the PVC it is going to ruin the nice smooth surface which will I’m sure cause the silicone to stick, if I shape the pipe deep enough I might hit that putty which is why I’d want to fill the pipe with something. Smooth-on sells a sealing wax that sounds like it will help.

I am intrigued by this:

This sounds like a better method for making my own ADS cup however I’m having trouble following his description of making the mold.
If Piet should happen to still be around or if anyone else knows exactly what kind of PU rubber he’s talking about, I’d be interested in finding out. Also need to draw out more on making a mold, I’m not really following what he’s saying. A clip needs to be put in the silicone while it is still wet so that would have to be at the top of the mold.I’m an old dude and my creative imagination is dusty.

Going in a different direction, the original poster, tps and others talk about using a PVC slip cap with a sleeve. Is using a slip cap as simple as it sounds - just put that on the head of your unit and use the sleeve to hold it on? Has anyone tried adding a clip of some kind to the cap to use with bungee and leg strap? Similar to using those cups for ADS.

Just throwing some ideas up against the wall to see if any stick, this DIY project isn’t exactly one I can spitball ideas with a buddy over a beer! I’m not sure if I know anyone that does PE, how would that conversation come up.

Is it safe to assume dragon skin is best for an all day stretcher and ecoflex-30 is best to use with a Vac hanger?

I planned to pic up some red sleeves for the Vac Extender but $20 for two is a bit pricey in my opinion. Especially if I have to purchase every few months.

I bought some dragon skin last month and made one set of sleeves. I ended up throwing them away. It’s way too stiff for me. I could barely even roll it and I definitely couldn’t get one on. Maybe if I made some bigger ones it may work. I still have plenty left to play with though I may just end up making some molds of myself with it. I end up getting around 20-30 sleeves from a $33 order of eco-flex. I use my eco-sleeves when I hang and I use them for all day stretching as well.

Can I use industrial silicone?

I’ve experimented a lot with sleeves. The industrial silicon WILL NOT WORK!! The ecoflex 30 is the best product I’ve found. Note to those who want more rigidity to their sleeve.. Experiment with different outside mold diameters. I use a 1 1/4” PVC (black) and It provides a fatter sleeve wall that is rigid, does not bend as easy and is very comfortable. It keeps me stretched flaccid without any glans pullback- plus I think its helping with a bit of foreskin restoration I’m toying with. I love putting my sleeve on after jelqing, or pumping.. It keeps the unit stretched comfortably.

Has anyone used these for vacuum hanging, sorry if I missed it. I’m just curious to know the poundage that these can handle. I think I bought the mold once upon a time but never got around to actually making any sleeves. I would like to either find the mold or buy some more if they can handle 15+ pounds.

I have made a shorter sleeve with the end enclosed with the ecoflex. Like a big suction cup! I embedded some ribbon in the sleeve body with a hook- I can hang 15lbs quite comfortably with no wrap needed. I think it would depend on shaft size.. The same suction plunger along with a 6” sleeve can hang more weight than I can handle!

Thank you lickitysplits you’re living up to your name in that quick response haha. If they were able to withstand that amount of weight by themselves with no vacuum hanger then they sound perfect for hanging. I think when I get around to it I will use johnman’s method in post #292 on page 20 to make my batch. Thanks man.

How did you go about making your sleeve with the enclosed end? Did you use the shorter enclosed sleeve with a longer sleeve or am I just misunderstanding?

I don’t hang with weights but I’ve been trying to come up with a way to make my own all day stretcher out of silicone.

Still Seeking Answers to DYI ADS

In my post from several months ago, I was/am looking for clarity on this post:

I get how the OP made a mold of the outside of the ADS cup but I do not understand how he molded the inside of the cup. The one I’d like to copy has a ridge around the inside at the base or opening of the cup, the ridge helps keep the cup from slipping (I guess). I’ve tried a few different models of this type of ADS and for me, the model with the ridge is the one I get the least blistering. I tried one that was made of a really soft silicone, has a small I.D., I thought it would be perfect but for some reason it is uncomfortable but worse than comfort it causes me to get horrendous water blisters and purplish marks on my head.

So if anyone reading this can shed a little light on molding the entire cup inside and out I’d really appreciate it.

I’ll post my plans soon still testing.

I’m using Kato polymer clay (amazon).

made a mold of size and shape I wanted baked the insert then drilled hole in end cap.

In total my mold is 4 pieces:

Pvc split length wise (2 pieces)
End cap with hold drilled in
Penis mold made with Kato clay
ecoflex 30

Its super strong. I’m still testing caps vs sleeves.

I can send over you a test device for a small fee just to cover materials. You just need a leg strap and bungee cord to hook into the ADS.

I also add a rough texture to the inside to help with grip. I also give more head room and tighter at base than ebay ads.

Side note I’m making a hanger similar to some posted here using the polymer clay. It can be totally custom and super strong and cheap when used with homemade sleeve. Will post those plans soon.

Kato clay is an amazing prototyping material. Cheap and super strong once baked in an oven.
