Should I Take a Deconditioning Break?

I did two marathon clamping sessions over two days last week and it played absolute havoc with my surgical scar (from where they tidied up my circ-scar recently (the scar didn’t bruise, but it became very painful))

Also— after a long clamping session my dick feels more fatigued than it gets from hanging all day— I literally can’t bear to hang after a long clamping session.

Right now I’ve been PEing for about 17 months with only a month off. I was going to start pumping, and regular clamping but I’m wondering if I should take a deconditioning break first.

I’m wondering if it’d be okay to keep clamping or pumping at low levels while I’m deconditioning

What do you guys think?

Should I take a deconditioning break / would there be advantages?

Can I pump at a low pressure wile I’m deconditioning?

Can I clamp while I’m deconditioning?

I’m interested in hearing what everyone thinks.

In all seriousness, I think Xenolith has some REALLY good ideas about “cycling” for PE he has a loose model built around the body’s natural response to stressors that you should look into. He sent me a PM with a synopsis of his idea that radically changed the way I handle “time-off”. I credit his advice with my last .25” length gain (in four weeks time).

Why don’t you check out his progress long. I have a feeling Xeno is going to be a legend around here someday.
Don’t take an arbitrary month off without considering his “remodelling” strategy.

Even when I do take a break, I always do something to keep the fire simmering. ADS, or light jelqs throughout the day, light pumping could also be a good intermission. That is only my humble opinion, of course.

I haven’t been around as long as you. What are your goals, Fantastic?

Clamping or pumping are only going to add to the irritation of your scarred area and may cause scar tissue development which will then un-tidyup the area.

This sounds a little like the kid who wanted to know if he could masturbate until he needed glasses, Mr. F. :)

Maybe just do some mild flaccid stretches when you shower. Get totally healed first?

Right now my goal is 8” x 6” with a “tree” shape— i.e. thicker at the base (if I can avoid any more girth behind my head I’ll be happy (I’m 5.5” there at the moment and don’t want to get any larger there because I’m afraid I won’t get any more blowjobs))

I read a lot of xenoliths writings on deconditioning breaks— if I remember correctly he recommends a hanging/ads cycle (I think I might have to re-read that stuff)
