Most newbie accounts I hear of talk about soreness, red spots and all that…I do what I consider to be a pretty intense routine and only have minor soreness with no other side effects…it’s been over a week now.

Should I intensify my routine or is it common to not experience any of those effects starting out? I don’t want to overtrain, but I do want to push to my safe limit.

Minor soreness is good, you don’t want to feel any major soreness because that is the sign of an injury.

I would give it a few weeks before you should intesify your routine.
