Shedding the Snake: Peeling to Remove Discoloration

Well the red area that I first burned seems to have resolved on my shaft. The color is probably 1 or 2 shades darker than it was before. I am thinking that the iron deposits just moved up closer to the surface of the skin maybe making it darker. It could also just be hyperpigmentation. In any case, what do you guys think? Is it possible that chemical peels make your skin worst, then better with subsequent peels? I might just leave it alone, try not to make it any worst than it already is. Or do you guys think that another peel would get rid of it?

Moving on. The 2nd burn I did a few days ago has started to peel. I am trying to keep the scab on as long as possible. It’s too early to tell what the newly peeled skin is going to do, but I have a feeling it’s going to go the same route as my first burn. Yeah, I know I’m pretty pessimistic. About a quarter of the skin I burned has peeled. That newly peeled skin has that very red/pink color like my previous burn. Ugh, I’m hoping for the best.

Hey dude, leave it alone — no more “burns” for a while. Let the skin heal/rejuvinate. Don’t touch the affected (what you call scabbed) skin. Let it fall off naturally. Put vasoline on the affected areas to keep the skin supple and remaining on the shaft for as long as possible. Again, leave it alone. You will have plenty of time to mess with it in the future, eh?

BTW, it looks like the wart remover worked for me on the circ scar and the swath at the base of the shaft. Even though the peel it did initially was minimal, it has since faded some more, and I think I am approaching 98% to 100% completly normal — for the whole shaft now.

Yeah, I am putting a vast amount of vasiline and lotion already. I suppose I’m a fast peeler. The skin from the first peel has already healed, so yeah. I dunno.

Well anyways congratulations on nearly reaching the promised land of no discoloration.

After doing an inconsistent PE routine for several months consisting mostly of a combination Uli and Pan roll type thing, my skin is darker again in some areas.

My circ scar has darkened the most, but only where I hadn’t burned it off as thoroughly. The circ scar on top and around the left side is much darker now, yet hardly any trace of it exists on the right side. I had the deepest burns/color removal on the right.

The foreskin area (meaning between circ scar and head) has also redarkened several shades on the ventral side, though it isn’t nearly as bad as before I started peeling.

The rest of the shaft still looks pretty good.

I guess some people are more prone to discoloration. It took years for me to get mine. Anyway you sure that discoloration isn’t the normal kind of discoloration, not the iron deposit kind? Because when I stopped PEing I had iron deposit discoloration (at the time I didn’t know what kind it was) below the circ scar, but I also had discoloration on the head of my penis and above the circ scar. It took months for the the discoloration above the circ scar to disappear. Maybe that’s why I wasn’t too concerned with the discoloration in the beginning. Meh.

I think the key to prevent discoloration is a proper warm up. Ya probably know, warm wrap/ run your penis under warm water. Something I failed to do.

That’s a bitch, Hobby. I am assuming you have a sound warmup ritual too?

No, I haven’t bothered with heat lately, but I doubt it would have helped much. I’m planning on attempting yet again to take an extended break, so I’ll probably peel the areas that have re-darkened.

The right side of my circ scar didn’t come back. Maybe if I get a deep enough peel on the rest it won’t either, or at least not as easily.

umm, yeah so some of the skin peeled naturally off in the shower and revealed this really raw “spot”. Looks like a small cut. Don’t really know what to make of it yet. The skin is tough and hard there. This one is definetly a red red color. I’ll wait and see what happens. Everything else seems to be going pretty smooth though. More than half of the skin has peeled. Looks like the rest of it will come off in 2 or 3 days.

First some good news: I’d like to say that my peeling and pink skin is working out pretty well so far. The thing has peeled completly. But I still have to wait and see how it resolves on my penis. Still things are looking better than they were for my first peel.

The potential bad news: The skin from my first peeling, the one that I said became darker after the skin resolved, seems to be getting worse over time. I don’t mean that the entire skin is getting darker, but I am seeing some darker spots appear on that portion of the skin. Today after I took a shower I noticed a blackish “spot” on that area. I’ve read on other message boards where people who did some chemical peels, that they had black spots appear on their face after the skin peeled off. I am very worried about this. I hope this is temporary for me.

But man, my penis is super spotty right now. There are still little tiny areas of iron deposit discoloration that I missed, the pinkish healing skin, and the darker discoloration from the 1st peel. It’s not looking pretty right now. I’ll report back whenever my new skin resolves and the condition of the black spot.

I would recommend stopping completely. Seing black spots is crazy fucking shit. Just crazy. Wait a few months and see if things clear up of their own accord. But I would stay away from wart solutions for a while. I can’t for the life of me understand what went wrong. But enough is enough.

SHIT! enough said.

Do these black spots you mention hearing about on other message boards eventually disappear?

I dunno, they stopped responding. Lets hope my newly peeled skin dosen’t take the same route.

Could be hyperpigmentation. I believe that usually resolves itself if you let it.
