Rethinking PE-Theory

I not agree.

I have been a bodybuilder for about 30 years and I can surely say that is good to stop for some weeks only after a contest or if you are over trained ( but it is a very rare case ), but never if you want to improve your muscles.

I know that in the ‘50-‘60 they used to take a break every, for example, 2 months, but not at the present.

Of course I know the penis isnt a muscle and I understand what its made of. The smooth muscle theory thread that was posted here went into more detail about this and many believe its possible to work that “muscle” somehow.

The reason I compared PE with bodybuilding is because your body gets used to the samething over and over again and its good to switch your routine up a bit and definitely get rest. Just how you really dont grow in the gym, I believe the same is true for PE. The gains come while resting over a period of time. I just think there are alot of similarities between the two.

There are tons of people that still take breaks off from bodybuilding and I dont mean just on the professional level either. I know from personal experience that when I take a short 2-3 week break, then come back Im stronger than when I left off. For instance, a few months back I actually took 2 months off from weight lifting due to a shoulder injury. When I started back, within 2 weeks my max db shoulder press reps increased by 4. That may not sound like alot but anyone that worksout knows thats a big increase. Not only did my max reps increase but I also added on another 5lbs to each db and was able to get 6 reps with the new increased weight.

Rethink away, Triple T. I’m eager to see what you come up with.

Enter your measurements in the PE Database.

Tivase and bigger:

The best comparison is pe and ligament or tendon stretching.

Read penismith’s thread covering the science of pe.

Bigger - again - I don’t agree. The gains come while stretching. During rest there is inflammation and scar tissue formation which tend to counteract the effects of stretching. That’s why in this forum many suggest that you should use an ads after hanging or other length exercises (‘never let it turtle’).

Modesto -

You posted ‘Rethink away .’. I don’t understand what you mean (probably just a language problem - I am german, sorry). Please elaborate a little.

Tick,

I agree with your last statement.

“10-03-2004

“In leg lengthening surgery, the tibia and fibula or each leg are broken and the two halves of each bone are affixed to a threaded splint that holds them apart. The threads are advanced to separate the bone segments 1mm per day until the desired new length is achieved.

Have you ever wondered whether PE gains work essentially the same way? Bigger talked about “pulling out” his penis by hanging, but the amount he pulled out exceeded anything that was within his body. Perhaps the tunica has a weak point, analogous to the break in the bone above, which stretches in response to regular stress, while the rest of the tunica remains substantially unaffected.”

This thread references a technique that is employed in leg lengthening. The leg bones are cleanly broken laterally and then a device is attached to the leg which keeps the bone separated by small amount. As the space between the broken bone is filled in, the device is adjusted to maintain the gap. Interestingly, the soft tissue surrounding the bone will grow to accommodate the new longer leg length. This proves that soft tissue including muscle and nerves can elongate in response to a chronically applied force.

Penis lengthening like bone lengthening?”

penismith - Science of PE Posts and Threads. Link Here!

I’m currently condensing everything I’ve learned into guidelines, information and tips to publish to another thread: basic information on the best way I know to produce gains through hanging (based on both my reading and experience). I’ve gained almost 2” in two years hanging consistently at low weights (maximum of 3kg). I don’t practice manual PE— just hanging and sometimes ADS. The implications might interest you, as may a lot of the detail I’m going to include. I’ll include a link to the post in this thread once I’ve posted (it should be in the next day or so (I still have to draw a few more threads together to complete the post)). Once I’ve posted I’d be very interested in hearing whatever questions, comments or conclusions you have as a result of reading my thread (if you have any).

Size Myths in the Porn Industry

I think that the body building analogy has some validity. Body builders often reach the volume limit of a muscle which is set by the fascia. The fascia is a collagen sheath that surrounds skeletal muscle and it determines muscle shape.

The tunica albuginea of the penis is a fascia. The penile smooth muscle, most of which is contained within this fascia, cannot grow unless the tunica becomes larger.

The following is a description of how some body builders enlarge their skeletal muscle fascias:

Very interesting mr.fantastic. I will sure read your thread and comment if appropriate. Very interesting that you made good gains at low weight. Maybe inflammation and scar tissue formation are less pronounced and thereby less weight could actually produce better gains. I am quite impatient to see the details of your routine. Good point would be absence of negative pe signs I suppose.

Thank you for your input penismith. You know that I highly respect your thread on pe related science.

On the one hand, the smooth muscle in your dick is completely different from skeletal muscle (body-building). The smooth muscle cann NOT be voluntarily contracted.

But the fascia argument (muscle fascia = penis tunica + septum) is a very valid one that I didn’t consider sofar.

Incidentally - it is a great pleasure for me to think about pe and discuss - learn and teach. The funny part of the story is that probably all exercises work somehow and even the stupidest if only dedicated pe-er will make gains. Because our dicks don’t think nor speculate. They just react - each in it’s characteristic manner.

Thanks for joining the thread.

Penismith - statements from your quote:

‘4. Recovery!

Unfortunately, like every aspect of bodybuilding, we must have enough will power to allow the area worked to recover. You see, the pump, combined with extreme manual stretching will damage the connective tissue. In order for it to grow back and be remodeled as Millard puts it, into a larger bag, it must have a significant enough time to recover. This is not only a painful process, but like any type of extreme training is also stressful, and needs significant time to recover.’

I AM NOT SURE WHETHER THE FASCIA OR THE SKELETAL MUSCLE NEEDS RECOVERY - INTUITIVELY I WOULD SAY THE MUSCLE MUCH MOR (IF AT ALL) THE FASCIA:

‘How frequently should fascia stretching take place and what type of volume should be used within a workout? As with any training protocol, this is a much debated subject’

UNFORTUNATELY..

PENISMITH - YOUR QUESTION: ‘Penis lengthening like bone lengthening?’

Not exactly. - We don’t break or cut our dicks prior to stretching. The better analogy is ligament and tendon stretching I think.

Glad to have you in my thread.

I don’t think so, it elongates all the way between the attachment point of the hanger or whatever to the base.

What bib meant with pulling out the inner penis - I’m speculating - could be the lig stretching which lowers the exit point of your dick and makes it longer thereby. Surgical techniques use the same approach: the lig is simply CUT.
