After looking at the member size data it appears that only a third of the members are reporting gains. Now maybe the survey size is small and that many members who have had gains are not reporting. I’m relatively new to PE and I’m looking for motivation for the investment of time almost every night. Those of you who are veterans might be able to shed some light on this.
I am a weight lifter like some on this board and believe if PE is effective that it would take more extreme workouts then I’m hearing from some of the members, not in frequency but in intensity. We’re talking about a part of our body which is stubborn, and like many other parts of our body would take extreme efforts to gain.
Veterans please comment.

It’s easy to hurt it initially—take your time to build a base from which to hit it with intensity. At least that’s my opinion.


6-22-08: 7.5' BPEL, 7' NBPEL, 7.75' BPSFL, 5.25' EG

I just finished my 2nd month of pe and about two weeks ago I was stuck at 6 5/8 in nbp. It just

seemed like it wouldn’t grow. I’m a weightlifter too and out of frustration I decided to try a shock routine. So I doubled my efforts and only have taken 1 day off due to a schedule conflict. That’s one day off in the last 9 days. I’ve gained 1/4” in length as a result of this shock routine!!! I think I’m gonna keep going this way until things just dry up gainswise, and then I don’t know what I’ll do. I’m also self employed and single and this time of the year I have more free time on my hands. So now I’m just a hair under 6” nbp, bringing my gains to about 7/8” in 2 months. Not too bad I think. I didn’t see anything the first two weeks and I began to worry, but this site kept me optimistic. Hang in there guys, and don’t be afraid to push yourself, it’s worked for me for 2 weeks now- Wantingmore


I don’t really know anything about the data page or the experiment. But I did look at some of the entries. Many of the guys that have pages that say “no gains” have actually gained. Many have gained a lot. Maybe the data is only for the experiment, and they have not recorded anything since it began.

Or it could be they put in their current data, with gains to date already factored in, and future gains are reported on the second page. Beats me.

Size can probably say what the deal is. Or some of the guys with data. Size just got the data page up and running. So, it is not the lack of gains, but rather the newness of the system.


Yes, it is open to all now. Just the guys in the experiment were using it up until about a week ago. They were entering their data at the beginning of the experiment, not their gains to date. More guys need to start using that thing now, ooops, me too. :D

Thanks guys for the feedback. I hated to sound negative because I look everyday for positive posts to motivate me. It’s obvious that all of this works. I know that from weight lifting that no routine works forever, it may maintain what you have, but you don’t add to your gain. If you lift for to long and to often you become like a marathon runner, no muslce and emmaciated. If you sprint strongly for short bursts you get like a stallion and the gains are greater. But even this method should change.
The point that I’m trying to make is that you have to change your routine often, not daily, but maybe every few weeks.
Thanks for the enlightment on the size data, I think maybe a new line item of gains to date would offer a lot of motivation to members. When you see no gains reported, it throws you off.
