Reasons for SLOW gains and NO gains

I stuck with manual PE for so long because I maintained the mentality that if manual didn’t work, than nothing would. If stretching didn’t work, how could I expect hanging or extenders to work? If jelqing and pumping (I pumped for 3-4 months and I lost size) didn’t work, how could I expect clamping to work? I guess I mistakingly lumped these exercises together as near identicals. I recently have discovered that this probably isn’t the case. I started tinkering with clamps a few days ago and I have already found it to be completely different from jelqing and very different from pumping. Additionally, I think I pumped incorrectly anyway.

I may have been too quick to decide that I would take a mega-perhaps-permanent break from PE. Reading some of the posts in this thread have made me realize that I have been quite inept in my PE practices —- doing the same thing over and over again despite it’s obviously poor success rate for me. But the truth is, I am already seeing the negative impact from not jelqing for 5 days. My flaccid sucks in a major way and I can feel my EQ actually dropping. Now, when I say “EQ” I don’t talk about erection hardness, MW, NW, or any of that. I refer to it as my arousal levels. I have never had a major drop in anything but arousal levels. So, it’s safe to say that jelqing at the very minimum keeps me horny. This could be psychological moreso than anything (touching my dick every night…)

I probably need to try hanging. I know back in January I did construct a shabby hanging contraption and tried it out. I had it on for 5 minutes with 3 pounds before I could feel it slipping. I took it off and never tried it again knowing that I would need to make a wrench or buy a Bib if I ever wanted to venture down this road. I do seem to recall getting an insanely high BPFSL reading the next day following this 5 minutes of hanging, but the incredibly skeptical side of me simply chalked that up to nothing more than a faulty measurement. Perhaps I was wrong about that.

But, for now, I have clamps and I’m going to tinker with them. I did 3 sets of 5 minutes with the clamps the other day and achieved a between .250” and .313” expansion while clamped. I’ve been told that kind of expansion is pretty good. So, maybe there is some capacity there. I need to perfect a wrap though.

Now you speak! Clamping doesn’t require much effort and feels good. Of course don’t overdo and be cautious.

Interesting stuff Skatezy, thanks! :up:

Glad my posts drummed SOMETHING into your head. Now fucking do these exercises religiously!! Pumping + jelqing is supposed to work good but you really don’t want to get into the bloody jelqing habits again. Do a little jelqing for your ‘arousal levels’ but focus on clamping if you want girth that is and do no stretching, it’s obviously been a waste of time. Oh and if you did wet jelqs then now switch to dry jelqs. Dry jelqs + clamping I’d say basically everyday (No rest days) sounds ideal. Keep gaining girth until you don’t anymore (provided you’ve added more time to the exercise when gains slowed). I’d say every 6 months you should totally switch PE techniques. Pump and wet jelqs or wet jelqs and hanging. In that time be reading up exactly how to hang and pump properly. This time next year you’ll be saying why didn’t you do this before! Or you’ll of stayed pessimistic and thus got inconsistent and gained little to nothing. So MAKE THIS HAPPEN!

I’d probably try alternating a week of hanging with a week of clamping. Plenty of heat. 50 light jelqs just for tissue fluid exchange after each session, followed by firegoat rolls to to avoid discolouration after each clamping session. Hang 7 days a week unless you feel you need a day off. Clamp 3 on 1 off.

firegoat is fully RETIRED from Thundersplace.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

Why would you do only a week at a time? It takes a quite a few weeks of doing the same exercise consistency to cause enough deformation in the tissues to notice some growth. Any possible like 0.1mm gain you’d make in a week would probably become lost after taking a week off doing something unrelated? And why would you have rest days for clamping? I think that’s about the only PE exercise you NEED to do everyday (Unless you’re doing it hardcore and your EQ become bad). I hate if I miss a day of clamping it’s harder to get as much expansion and the spots/bruising comes easily.

I should probably add that I care very little about length. I’m not saying my length is optimal (about 6” NBP and about 6.4” BP). But if I was told that I could gain one and one only, I’d focus every day of my life on girth since I am under average at about 4.4”. So, hanging is something that I may NEVER do, especially if I find clamping to yield results. Basically, if clamping gives me girth gains, then I will do it until the gains stop. Then I’ll take a break and do it again. My ultimate goal in PE was never more than 7x5” but I’d take 6x5” and retire/maintenance at this point, unless I find it doable to continue. 6x6” is a better dick than 7x5” in my opinion.

Remind me to answer this after Sunday if I don’t remember Audacia. I’m not around much ‘till then.

I wanted to copy/paste my PM to UFgator since this thread has gotten longer and has received many views. I want to compare me and him. UFgator and I are both the same age and go to the same school. I have a 3.8 GPA and he has a 2.9 and I also go to the gym everyday and workout and I am a health freak. I am very ambitious, hard-working, and most importantly. I am trying to respectfully point out that this guy has a lackadaisical attitude about PE. Afterall, he himself admitted that he had 17 months with no results. Can any of you say that after 8.5 months of no results, you would seriously continue the next 8.5 months without doubling the intensity each month until you finally saw growth or an injury? He also says his EQ has never suffered, which obviously means he is not doing this tough enough like a burly man. There are a lot of soft-handed liberals in G’ville and this OP may or may not be one of them. I have plenty of experience in manual labor, such as digging fences, roofing, and doing heavy labor on an orange grove nursery.

Just as an experiment, when I look at some of the other 22 yo guys I see on campus, I just don’t see them as having what it takes to make strong results. Most people at my university have had an easy life and have never had to work hard for anything. I’m not trying to denigrate the OP as much as I’m trying to take the gloves off and remind him that it’s no pain no gain. Unless you have the risk-seeking attitude that you are going to not quit until you have injury or results, then you will get neither injury nor results. With the right attitude, you’ll get at least results, and if you have too much attitude then you will get injury/discoloration also. With the wrong attitude, you’ll just do 8.5 months of PE with neither results nor injury, then act like it’s no big deal. Halfway into his "17 months with no gains" he didn’t care and wasted another 8.5 months of PE before he even decided to make a post. His attitude is pessimistic and his will/determination are insufficient.

With all due respect to the OP, I’m not trying to discourage you; however, if you don’t change your commitment then you are going to just waste the next 17 months. Some people like to do PE for their improved erection quality, and that’s great. Some people do PE and suffer a terrible injury, and that’s not so great. You’re in between these 2 extreme and have not done badly at all. The added EQ is a great and tangible blessing you walk away with; however, I will end this post with my final caveat:

***I believe that YOU GET OUT OF LIFE WHAT YOU PUT INTO IT and pe is definitely not an exception***

I go to UF too and saw your post. I just wanted to say that it sucks you have spent 17 months with virtually zero gains. I started in December 2008 and quit in March 2010 and gained 1.25" to every length statistic: BPEL, NPEL, etc.. Additionally, I gained about 1/8" - 1/4" in girth. Contrary to what the other people say, I had to pull about 10x harder than what any sane person’s advice is.

Are you familiar with contortionists who can bend backwards and put their head to their feet while standing up? That is the amount of efforts you have to put into stretching the connective tissues of your body. You have to be extreme if you want ANY results. I thought that I would continue to gain 1/4" every month just like my newbie gains for the first 3 months; but, I slowly learned that I’m gaining 1/8" on good months and I’m working harder than anyone probably on this forum.

Just remember, if you’re not pulling hard enough, then you’re not going to get any gains. If you’re pulling too hard, you’re going to get injury. To be honest, it sucks because you and only you can calculate the risks for your own body (which by the way—doesn’t come with an owner’s manual) lol. In fact, if you have never gotten injured in 17 months, you’re not close enough to that fine line between injury/results. I had 2 injuries in my 15-month career which lowered my EQ to about 2.5 and I had to take about 10 days off before my EQ started going back up again.

If you haven’t gotten injured, you haven’t lived. PE is not like going into Southwest rec and putting in an 80% workout. You have to be the most extreme, most dedicated, most committed practitioner if you want ANY type of gains! If you haven’t gotten injured at least once in 17 months, then you’re not putting in as much efforts into PE as I have done. I have put in about 90 minutes per day religiously for 15 months and I have screamed, cried, etc.. (Not literally, but that’s how hard I trained—just like Rocky IV vs the Russian guy).

(most importantly—once you start gaining—STAY FOCUSED NO MATTER WHAT!)

Good luck with PE. It really does boost confidence once you make your cock 1.25" longer than what you were born with. Wherever you are at, consider the following improvements that 1.25 gives to any guy, no matter if he starts at 2 or starts at 8:

2 => 3.25
3 => 4.25
4 => 5.25
5 => 6.25
5.5 => 6.75 (me!)
6 => 7.25
7 => 8.25
8 => 9.25

Good luck bro!

Just as a mental exercise, I am going to take a famous quote by Teddy Roosevelt and change the last word to “injury” so that it makes sense to those who half-heartedly try PE vs those who wholeheartedly try PE. I have more respect for the people who have epic discoloration, unaesthetic 8x6/9x7, and love their penis anyway rather than those average people who are new to PE who think that they themselves don’t have what it takes to be one of the next “titans of PE” which is where I will end up some day if I refuse to quit and refuse to settle for less!

Hey hondarabbit - Was your goal to motivate me or to piss me off? You accomplished the latter…

First of all, how fucking dare you assume to know anything about me, my school grades, my work ethic, or my motivational drive. You know nothing about me other than what you READ INTO what I write. First of all, how did you come to the assumption that I had a 2.9 GPA at school? I hope you’re joking? Not only am I here on a full ride, but I maintain a 3.9-4.0 GPA throughout. I would be more than happy to e-mail you a print-screen of my online grade reports along with a copy of my scholarship. Apparently you think I’m some sort of dumbass kid who does nothing and gets everything. I can assure you bro, I have had to work for everything I have received. My up-bringing sucked and I have had to battle numerous mental issues and emotional strains. But I’m still standing.

And who the fuck died and made you the God of PE advice? You know, you sit there and ramble on about how I have done everything wrong and you have done everything right. Well, how about giving me some insight on what you actually did? See, you provide NO details as to what you did. Did you hang? Did you stretch? Jelq? Clamp? You give no details? I know why too. You’re a fucking bullshitter. You’re an attention whore. So, don’t bother giving me advice anymore because you have NO legitimacy in my book. You have joined the ranks of all of those guys who bullshit bullshit bullshit just to get attention.

You are now more than welcome to get the fuck out of my thread. Your opinions don’t count.

Thanks for playing “should we or should we not take advice from the galactically stupid.”

Hey hondarabbit, you probably had good intentions with your advice to the OP, but you have come across the wrong way. You can not get advice through to someone by insulting them. Even though your points about hard work are legitimate, you seemed like you were belittling the OP.

“No pain no gain” is not going to work in PE. It doesn’t work that much in most of other fields of live, I could add.
