Question about Hanging and Pumping together

Im thinking about doing these 2 exercises together but Im not sure which to do first, should I do them back to back, or say hang in the morning and pump at night. Today just to experiment I used my Captns Wench and hung for about 15 minutes then removed it, rested a few minutes, and pumped for a few minutes. Today is actually the first time I ever hung before so I kept it lightweight and will until Im used to this exercises but I have been pumping for about 3-4 weeks now. Is it ok to do these one after another or should they be seperated? Thanks in advance!

That’s my routine.

Actually I had to take off my hanger to write this.

I warm up (sometimes)

Hang 15-20 minutes.

Rest a minute. (As I am doing writing this)

Manual stretch different angles for a few minutes.

Pump 20 minutes.

Rest while basically stroking it to maintain an erection for better circulation.

Then I clamp for 10-15 minutes.

Then I repeat it. Two times if I have enough time.

It’s a pretty harsh work out.

But I keep it light on the weight/pressure and just increase time so I don’t hurt something.

Ok break over, I’m off to stretch.

Sounds like a pretty intense workout. How long have you been doing this and have you noticed any gains from it? I think I’ll give this combination a try for a while. Pretty much do everything youre doing now minus the clamping. Right now Im focussing on my length. Id like to hit 8” NBP within my first year of PE. I gained slightly over 1/4” within my first month-month and a half from the noob routine alone. I havent really gained anything in girth yet and thats what I really want but not until I hit my length goals. I figured hanging would help me with length alot quicker then I can focus on girth after that.

Im just wondering if you do these 2 on the same day should there be a longer break in between the two? Like hang in the morning and pump at night or is it ok for them to be back to back?

Well I do them together, lightly as I said.

I havent had any kind of trouble at all, except red spots.

But I get those from anything.

I don’t see anything wrong with trying it. Just be carefull.

Start light and work up.

Basic rule here.

I still only hang 7.5#.

Anymore hurts and it falls off anyways.

My dick can’t hang. (Yes that pun was intended)(sorry)

I need to get some weights. The only thing I have now is my Captns Wench and I rigged up a cable tied around some weights thats attached to another cable clamp that Im hanging off the end of my wench. Sounds confusing but it works. What kind of weights are you using?

I saw my first and only 1/2” length gain by hanging and pumping in the morning for about 3 or 4 months. I would warmup, hang with about 6 - 8 lbs. for about 40 mins. , heat wrap again, and then pump to maximum stretch for 20-30 mins.

I’ve since changed that around to pumping first and then hanging. It seems to me this should be more effective. The pump and heat loosens up the tissues more which should then allow the hanger to stretch more effectively. I don’t have any results to confirm this, but it makes more sense to me.
Dr. Kaplan suggests this routine with the equipment he sells.

I usually pump at night before bed, and then put on a light hanger while I sleep for a long term stretch. It is not on tight so it does not inhibit circulation. The weight is just enough to keep my penis stretched out, but not extreme tension. I think I have obtained a better flaccid hang from this routine, but I don’t know if my erect length has benefited much. I don’t measure very often so as not to become obsessive.

You have to be careful with the hanger wrapped around your foreskin after pumping. The pump will cause the foreskin to swell (turkey neck or baseball bat effect) so when you apply the wrap and hanger below the foreskin it will put a lot of pressure on the puffed-up skin and create some weird bulges. I recommend using lighter weights than usual when doing this routine.

I have found that the pump gives no help whatsoever. All it seemed to do for me was increase fluid build up that went away within a short period returning everything to normal again. I’ve read posts from a new member that said he had pumped for years with no gain in length or girth. All I see pumping doing is giving a false puffing. Frankly I would think that pumping in conjunction with hanging would make hanging more difficult because of the fluid build up. I know I couldn’t even get into my hanger without skin pinch problems.

I’ll be curious to see if your routines here amount to anything. I see the 1/2” gain Tinytim made but I really wonder if he wouldn’t have had that from his hanging by itself.

I’ve only been on this routine just over a month.

No results yet.

I tried hanging first then pumping and then vise versa on a different day.

Personally I prefer hanging first because the dick is totally relaxed.

Where as after pumping everything is starting to swell, and therefore becoming thicker in size.

Thicker is harder to stretch than thinner, anyways that’s the way I see it.

But I don’t know either. This is an experiment for me, if it doesn’t do anything at the end of 3 months, then I will try something different.

I think I do need to hang longer though.

7.5# for 10-15 minutes probably isn’t enough. Even if there are a few sets of it.

And as far as my pumping goes.

I like it actually.

I stay plump all night and through most of the next day.

And I see the stretch and pull in the tube happening, so even if that isn’t permanent yet, I atleast see it stretching to a point that I hope will become cemented after a while.

Plus even if it was temp.

I would rather see my dick plump that I must repump daily, rather than my old skinny jimmy.

Thanks for your input. I guess pumping kinda goes either way. Ive read where some people have gotten good gains from pumping when nothing else seemed to work at all. I try to switch things up quite a bit and dont rely on pumping alone. Im new to hanging and really want more length before I start clamping or anything else for girth. I visited your site, PEWEIGHTS and sent you a message from the contact form asking for your advice. Thanks for the input again!

Also, I noticed your sig says “post operative”. Did you have surgery or were your gains from PE alone. How much have you gained from hanging and other natural exercises?

My operation was for Diverticulitis. They had to take a section out of my Colon because it became infected and ruptured. When you have gas pains don’t try to force them through. When I came out of surgery I had a catheter and very swollen genitals. It took me several months to get back what disruption it caused. I have to go back in this coming month sometime to have my colon put back together. So get to start all over again. Kind of like a forced deconditioning period.

My sig says I started at 6.0 but I think I was shorter then that. I didn’t measure that well when I started PE. All my gains have been from hanging SO and SU and using PEWeights.

I think you guys would be better off clamping rather then pumping at least there you aren’t accumulating fluids which would make your hanging easier.

This kind of the Peter Dick Theory where you just do everything.

Just a little input from someone who has been hanging and pumping for a year.Do your hanging routine first.If you pump first ,all the lymph fluid and such that accumulates under the skin,will cause some seriously weird looking lumps in your fella.Plus with the fluid between the skin and the inner guts of the penis,your hanger will not grip properly thus it’s always sliding so all you get is a great skin stretch and no real tunica workout.I tried it both ways and believe me when I say hang first,then pump.

Since you have been doing this a year.

And I’m just over a month.

What does SO and SU mean when you mentioned hanging?

The reason I dont want to clamp yet is because Im trying to hit my length goals first. I wonder if I should focus more on hanging and jelqing and then clamp once Ive hit my goals?

I agree that pumping is not great for gains. I like to pump not realy for the gains but kind of an active recovery. I finish my workouts with like 15min light pumping just to get good blood flow and to keep it fully extended like and ADS so I get less post workout retraction. I usualy only retract for 20 min or so after a workout any way so I just start at 5hg and work down to 0 over 15 min then I put on 2 pe weights for 1 to 2 hours

Its funny that you guys say that. I dont remember exactly who the member is but I do recall seeing that someone gained about 1-2” in length from pumping alone. Then there was another guy who wasnt seeing gains from jelqing or anything else and started pumping and gained .5” girth in a month or 2. Now, from my own personal experience I think my gains have slowed down since I started pumping. I gained 1/4” my first month-month and half after starting PE from the Noob routine alone with some advanced stretches. Of course I dont expect to see those gains every few months but I really believe its slowed down since I started pumping with only 3-4 minutes of jelqing between sets. This is why Im wanting to start hanging. Hit my length goals then clamp for girth.
