I think you’ll get that 1/16” back quickly and then make some good progress over the next month or two.

At the end of February I was overtrained and due for another break. However, instead of jumping into it cold turkey again I’m trying something else first: plenty of rest between moderately intense workouts. I don’t have a set routine, but so far it’s been something like 1 on, 2-4 off. I’ll give this a month.


That sounds interesting to me. I kind of played with this idea for the last few weeks as well. External reasons prevented me from doing my daily routine, while I did do some very intense sessions every few days. It feels like this is giving my system a bit of a positive shock.

How’s it going since your break? Are you still using lighter weights or back up to 20 lbs.? How quickly have your ligs readapted? Any measurable gains yet?

Braker, I didn’t get anything out of my intense workouts with more rest days, though I only stuck with it a month.

At the end of March I got real busy and put PE on the back burner. Time flew by and before I knew it I’d been off for over a week. Might as well turn it into a longer break - probably 6 weeks. This should be a good test of whether a break can bust a plateau. I haven’t gained anything in 2 months. :(

I measured again yesterday and even though it wasn’t the gain I wanted (when is it ever though) I gained nonetheless. For the first time I finally hit the 7” BP mark and even though it was with a diamond cutter that only lasted a minute it was still a solid 7”. After it subsided to a ‘normal’ erection it stayed about 6 7/8”.

It took about 3 weeks before I could handle the 20lbs again. Everything was going fine until I finally read Bib’s LOT thread (about a month and a half late) and that threw a monkey wrench into my entire routine. Being that my LOT is 7:00 I promptly switched from hanging BTC to OTS so I dont know which helped to get me the slight gain I got. I read a thread where a guy had claimed to raise his LOT by hanging or stretching the higher angles. I dont know if this is actually possible but I hope so because BTC is more productive for me. It seems that you would have to have a lot of tunica stretch to significantly raise LOT though.

I told myself when I started PE that I would donate to both forums when I reached 7” so Thunder, the ‘check’ will be in the mail soon. I dont participate much in discussion but I read a lot so it’s my time to pay back for what I’ve received (even though one shouldnt need an excuse to donate).

Good for you! I hope you have an easier time locking in a consistent 7” than I’ve had. I’ve been stuck at 6 15/16” for way too long. A couple months ago I hit 7 1/8” wearing a cock ring after an intense squeezing session, but never could match it again. Now I’m always a solid 7” after a workout, but an un-PE’d erection still comes up a tad short. Very frustrating!!

My 6 week break only lasted a little over 2 weeks. I jelqed a couple minutes one day, thinking it wouldn’t interfere with my rest. I jelqed a little longer the next day, and even more the next, each time vowing it would be the last. Finally I gave up trying to restrain myself and began a regular routine of stretching and fulcrum hanging. I’ll give it a few months of hard effort. If I haven’t made some decent progress by then I’ll be very tempted to sign off of here and put punctuated PE to a real test - 6 months, a year, or maybe longer.

Been 2 weeks for me, and still going strong. Hoping for a 2-3 month break. Was told I had tendonitis in my left wrist today, so hopefully it keeps me away from PE for awhile.

Another break and more progress

I worked on girth for a few months, then took the last part of November and all of December off. Well, mostly off. I sneaked in a few jelqing sessions, which became more and more frequent until I was doing full workouts almost every day by January 1. I didn’t stretch during that time though.

I measured on Jan. 1: 7.0” BPEL and 7 5/8” BPFSL

I resumed hanging on Jan. 2, starting with light weight and only 2 15 minute sets per day. Several days later I upped the weight a little and went to 3 sets. As time went on I increased the weight a little more and increased the number of sets. I was up to 1.5 - 2 hours per day at the end of the month. I started out fulcrum hanging exclusively, then added OTS, and later did mostly OTS. Total hang time for the month: 28.6 hours (actual time with weight on my dick). I only took 3 days off.

Today, after 5 days of rest: 7 3/16” BPEL and 7 3/4” (maybe plus a hair) BPFSL.

For me, that’s a huge gain. Several months of not hanging or stretching, combined with at least a few weeks of time “off,” apparently allowed enough deconditioning for good results. In the past I’ve put in more effort for only 1/16” (or worse, nothing) in the same amount of time.

Now I have to get back in gear for hopefully more good progress this month.

I think that there is a lesson in it for us all.
I have definitely plateaued and whats worse Im becoming disinterested with PE of late. I suppose because of the lack of gains of late as well as outside commitments (busy at work, wife got a boob job, daughter started school, etc).
I think now is the right time for me to take a good break from PE and then get back into it when Im ready.
Oh well here goes nothing!

Months ago I gained some midshaft girth after a year of no progress. I hadn’t done girth work for a while apart from some occasional easy jelqing, so I was reasonably deconditioned. I wore a cock ring, pumped, wrapped for girth, etc. for many hours each day - basically anything and everything to try to stay expanded using only light intensity. I picked up 1/8” in a couple weeks. It was a real gain, not fluid, as I still have it.

As time went on, I added Ulis, extreme Ulis, pumping with slightly higher vacuum, and some bending, but I didn’t gain any more. Long-duration, easy intensity stuff after deconditioning did the trick. I’ll try it again next time I decondition from a length routine.

As for hanging strategy, my LOT is in the gray area of ligs v. tunica. I decided to work tunica first. The shaft gets stretched to some degree even when hanging BTC. I didn’t want my tunica to toughen while spending time on ligs. Tunica first, ligs later makes more sense in my situation.

It’s now over a year, since I posted those stats. I stayed the same size (small girth gains) until I spent almost a total of three months of not doing PE last autumn.

I re-started with a very basic routine (4-5 times a week) in december. Well, I’m now at least 7 1/8” x 5 1/8” (from 7”x5”), which all came in about 6 weeks of time.

I totally take another break, if and when I hit the plateau again.

The idea of an extended break is getting ever more appealing to me, and I’ll give it a try.

I haven’t had any gains for three months. When I started PE last April, my length shot up from 16.3 cm (6.42 “) to 18.4 cm (7.24”) in less than 6 months. Since then I haven’t gained anything. Girth always troubled me, I gained maybe 1/5” and I am now at 11.8 cm (4.65”). I assume this qualifies me for having a pencil dick :( I took 2 1/2 weeks off at the end of december, that hasn’t helped though. I reviewed my training log today and I’ve decided that it’s time for a long break. I won’t PE for two months and restart after april 15th.

Another thing I’ve realized today: I am kind of addicted to PE. It’s hard for me to skip workouts even if I know I should, e. g. due to a very fatigued dick. I think of PE even when I’m not doing it, but I somehow lost the excitement. I hope that I can get it back with this long break.

I plan to focus on other things in my life and use the time I free up for playing the guitar. I’ll keep you posted about my progress (hopefully) after this long break. Wish me luck.

Good luck, Faust. It sounds like the gains you’ve made are well-cemented, so go for it. I hit a similar plateau after initial rapid progress. IIRC, it lasted about 4 months, and I only broke out of it by hanging. I wish I’d known to rest instead of wasting all that effort.

Well-cemented? That’s a nice thought, the only positive thing I can say about it, besides the fact that I have gained quite some length in a short amount of time. I am thinking about starting to hang when I restart in April.
