Pumping isn’t time consuming???

It is often recommended to pump at low vacuum pressures and for a longer time.

Experienced pumpers often talk about spending several hours a day on their pumping routine.

As “gains” are temporary, you must continue your pumping schedule FOREVER or for as long as you wish to keep your “gains”!

Not only is pumping very time consuming, it is also largely a waste of time in my opinion.

The gains being temporary seems to be a thing that confuses many. From my own reading of pumping, I have found that many seem to mean that gains you see post-pumping session are temporary, but there is the potential to get permanent gains witnessed with a non-pumped erection. the general consensus is that pumping alone will not do much for you; however, if you combine pumping with other PE methods then you should get permanent gains. Pumping is understood to be a supplement, so when combined with other techniques like an extender or Jelqing, people have been getting permanent gains.

It is also said that pumping for length is “pointless” by many, however, those same people will at least say that at least girth gains are possible with it, along with some other PE method.

I think the idea of a pump being a supplement is pretty plausible. If you imagine a pump forcing a lot of blood into your penis, it will be stretching the inner part out quite a bit. So if you jelq or extend right afterwards, the PE will take advantaged of the cells in their weakened state to encourage cell division. In the instance of extenders, it could hold that stretched out state for a long period of time, which will force the penis to heal while in that state.

You say pumping has the potential to get permanent gains, but then say you need to combine it with other PE methods. If pumping has the potential for permanent gains, then you need no other PE method. None! If you combine pumping with other PE methods, it is those other methods that will provide the permanent gains, not the pumping. No permanent gains can be attributed to pumping when achieved in combination with any other PE method which is known to provide them. Drop pumping totally from that combination and the other PE methods would still be expected to provide those gains.

I think you misunderstood my post. I am saying pumping has the potential to get permanent gains ALONG with PE methods. I never denied you can’t get gains with other PE methods alone. And I never said you could get permanent gains with pumping alone either.

Pumping is a supplement just like I said in my post.

If you pump, you force a lot of blood into your penis and that stretches/forces it beyond its normal capacity. After a pumping session your cells are stressed from the pumping session, so they will start healing the healing process. The point I’m making here is to take advantage of that time afterwards. For example, if you pump and do a session, your cells are stressed out. Put on an extender after a session and your cells will be forced to repair themselves IN an extended state. Cell repairs is also the time that any cell division is gonna occur, so with the penis being extended state that was weakened by the pump the cells can’t retract all the way back and it will heal where it can.

Pumping over extended periods of time has also been gaining attention lately. It used to be that you only pumped for 10-20 minutes, but now many are doing extended sessions lasting 1-3 hours and there have been gain reports coming in from doing it that way.

Anyways, As for OP, I personally don’t think clamping is the best idea despite it having more reports of gains. That is just my opinion though. It is probably one of the highest PE on the danger scale, so take caution. The same applies to pumping too, but at least with pumping you get that continuous blood supply.

Pumping is less time consuming compared to hanging. With hanging you need to be very careful with wrapping/rewraping/pinching/etc(time spent doing these “additional duties” adds considerably). With pumping you just put your dick inside and pump.

My twig is to thin for my pump

I’ve purchased a pump with big intentions. Then I slid it in and it was like throwing a hot dog down a hallway. I have a Meg of 4” and base almost 4.25.

Are there any remedies for fitting into the cylinder tightly? I’ve looked into silicone, rubber, vinyl tubing to slip over my shaft to hopefully seal the gap in the seal. But I can’t find anything I think would work. Or maybe clamping is my only bet. Any Suggestions?

If you do research in the pumping forum, you will see most people pumping for enlargement only pump for 30 to 45 minutes. Or an hour at most (but I think that is overkill)

People who pump for “several hours a day” are

a) either not working efficiently if their goal is permanent enlargement, or they
b) are people who are specifically going for the bloated temporary fluid gains.

You will not find many of type-B people here. There are many sites devoted to that kind of pumping, but Thundersplace is not one of them. TP is about enlargement, not bloating.

On the Temp vs Permanent issue:

There are “temp gains” (fluid buildup) after a set. Those go away in an hour or so.

But there are permanent gains over time.

Just like when you jelq, you are temporarily bigger and that goes away. But over time you will see permanent gains.

I gained about a 1/2 inch from pumping. I stopped pumping for a long time. That girth did not go away.

You only have 2 posts and are looking for clamp? have you tried ALL the other normal manual methods to increase girth?.

This is a very good clarification. I think the confusion many are getting regarding pumping are if the gains are temporary or not. Many say it isn’t and others say it is. I think where the confusion is coming from is whether we’re talking about gains we see non-pumped erections or pumped erections. Pumped erection gains are temporary. non-pumped erections are not temporary.

I think another confusion (which I’m still struggling on) is that it seems that some imply that you retain some of the “temp pumped gains” throughout your PE routine, where it involves the pump. By this I mean that it appears that some will say that if you are doing a pumping routine for a while, any of the gains you see non-pumped will go away fairly quickly after you stop doing pumping. I’m not sure about that myself. I mean if you gain 1/2” throughout your PE career involving a pump and then you stop for a few months, will those gains stay? In your case it did, but it seems others are saying it will not. I suppose it is a case of everyone being different.

That is a very good point.

Let me sort of clarify my take on that.

There are some guys who pump every day, so there is always some fluid build up present. Sometimes they will report a girth gain and people will say: “But you pump everyday, you measurement is not accurate because you still have some temporary swelling/edema. You need to wait for three or four days (or more( after your last pumping session before you can get a real measurement”

That is absolutely correct. If you are a daily pumper it is best to wait several days after a pumping session before taking a measurement if you are looking for an accurate measurement.

[Now off topic a little, from my research on TP I am pretty much convinced that “less is more” when it comes to girth training. From the vets I hear that the penis needs more time to recover from girth work, so I don’t think an every day approach is as productive as a routine that allows for rest and recovery.]

Ah, that finally makes sense now. I have been racking my brain over that for the past week or so. It definitely makes sense too. I kept getting confused why people were sounding like you keep temp gains over a time period longer than a few hours after a pump session. I will take what you said into mind with regards to measurements. I think this was a very good question you answered. It’d probably be helpful to be posted somewhere in the forum since I have not found an answer as direct as this. Thanks again.

To clarify

Well actually, I’ve been stretching and jelqing for more than a year now. Pretty much the newbie routine. I’ve had 3/4 of in. Gains in length. When It comes to jelqing though I’ve seen no improvement. I only do PE 3 and 4 times a week. If I was to Jelq 5 days I might see gains over the long haul. All I was wanting to see was, what my possible gains Could be with the dedication needed for girth. When I first started lurking about I remember hearing alot of length first then girth. So, that’s what I did . I’m not doing this out of vanity I’m doing it out of necessity. I don’t like rattling around in these holes I keep coming across. I have the penis everyone has talked about for ever looong and skinny (7x4)
Any suggestions on how I might fight better in my pump.

Thanks

If you have been pumping and not been seeing any girth gains after a while, you might have to be more forceful and go with clamping. Have you ever taken a decon break over that year?

I am a big proponent of pumping and clamping in alternating sets. I think its very effective and its the only way I’ve gained girth.
