Yesterday I encountered a problem that had me stop my PE workout for the day. After I stretched my head was really sore. I thought that was wierd and that it might go away if I warmed it up a bit with some more hot water. It didn’t get much better but I decided to start jelqing anyways. After the first couple jelqs I realized I had to stop because my penis head was still hurting.

I have problems stretching because my flaccid is extremely small (like 2 and half inches). When I stretch its really hard to find a good grip and when I try to I end up gripping my head. After a stretch my head is always kind of purplish because it’s been squeezed too much. If I dont squeeze hard enough then I lose my grip on my penis. How can I get a good grip on my penis so I can stretch adequately with squeezing my head?

I had the same problems as you with stretching; I would either grip too hard or slip off. I read in the newbie instructions somewhere about latex glove aiding your grip. I had several pairs of very thin disposable latex gloves from Home Depot, the kind use for painting or staining, and I gave it a shot. They work very well and allow for a better grip without slipping or squeezing too hard and hurting yourself.

We’re talking about our own penises, geez… I don’t know about you but after my brain (even my brain loses I guess) this is the most important part of my body.

My advice is: before I began PE, as you, my flaccid hang was around 2”. I had gripping problems in the begginning, obviously, since there was something I never did before but NEVER because of the size of my flaccid hang. My suggestion is: before stretching, sit on a chair, take your penis and search (no joking) for the optimum grip WITHOUT going into PE stretching. Just try to do your best grip. Squeeze this way, that way, until you find a comfortable safe good grip.Then try it. If it’s not resulting, sit down again until you find it. It shouldn’t be that hard.
Keep in mind that if you’re well heated when you grip tightly around your penis just bellow the glans your glans should expand, meaning an easier grip. If you find too difficult with just your thumb and index finger, try using the middle finger also.

Take a look in the videos of the site, the guy who does uses the thumb, index and middle finger to grip. ;)

You have to heat it up really good ? And also apply heat all the way thru your routine ( I do anyway). I also found out that doing light HELICOPTER movement first, in both directions ,seems to loosen the ligs from the start. As for stretching pressure. What I did was get a fish weighing scale, and mimic the same pressure as I feel comfortable with wich in my case is 4 to 6 pounds. Does anyone out there agree with that? More or less pressure?

If you don’t have gloves, I find talcum powder really helps getting a good grip. You may also need to grip it right at the base to get a stretch without damaging the head.

All pain in PE is bad and you’ve got to give yourself time to recover if you’re injured. A good stretch should give you a sort of burning sensation. I know the difference between this and pain seems a bit ridiculous, but with time you should be able to distinguish between when it’s injured and when it’s stretching.

Thanks very much for the note and appreciate your concern. As a newbie I read as much as possible before starting and definitely agree that ‘pain is not good.’ My first two stretch sessions used poor technique and my fingers kept slipping and in order to keep the grip the natural reaction is to hold ‘a little tighter.’ I quickly realized this was no good, stopped and reverted to reading more posts for solutions and others experiences. The wealth of information here is priceless, as is the camaraderie among the members. I found posts suggesting using the gloves and it has worked very well for me. I can use a much softer grip and experience no discomfort at all during the stretches. Thanks again for the information and concern, it was greatly appreciated.

I have always used a square of toilet paper to grip. It’s cheap, easy, disposable, and it works really well. Try it and let us know how it works for you.

Toilet Paper works well for me as well as far as grip goes. And I’d like to echo the others: Pain is not part of the PE vocabulary! If it hurts, you are doing it wrong. The only pain I ever tolerate is when I accidentally pinch my skin during a stretch, and even then I usually stop and regrip.

I’ve also come to believe that the only place the stretch really matters is at the base where the suspensory ligament meets the penis. It is this connection we are trying to loosen/expand to allow more of the inner penis to be revealed. I still do traditional stretches, but I also do deep stretches as part of me Jelq routine: this means grabbing as far up into my fat pad as I can and concentrating the stretch there.

I’d love to hear some other opinions, but before I get lambasted I’d like to point out that I am only talking about the ligament stretches commonly associated with newbie gains: I am not talking about the more difficult tunica stretching required once the newbie gains are exhausted. Those would certainly require a full stretch of the entire penis.
