I know what you mean, not only about physical things but mental as well. I came from a past filled with self-hate and abuse. Once in a while it’ll get me. I’m being healed more and more everyday, I believe through Jesus Christ. But once in a while something will happen and it’s like a waterfall pouring on me.

I’d describe it as a river of pain smacking me in the face, I guess.

I’m not the person I was a couple of years ago, thank God. I feel like the happiest pearson in the world now.
