Yeah, but there’s a difference in a spike in those dopamine levels. If you masturbate those dopamine levels drop significantly after you finish and take time to come back. Whereas just watching a video won’t make you lose anything

Watching videos causes your dopamine levels to spike. Then over time, your brain gets used to the visual stimuli and needs or expects it to get you excited.

You can’t be serious. You need to do more research. The spike in dopamine happens after every picture that you view. You don’t have to masturbate to get the negative effects from porn. I know this because I tried that for a long time and it is supported by research. The difference in the dopamine spikes don’t matter the main thing that creates the erectile dysfunction is the continuous spiking in dopamine levels. It doesn’t matter if you ever masturbate to it or not. Your dopamine depletes until you are too low to get excited to real world women and even vanilla porn.

There are guys out there that can get ed from reading too many erotica sex stories which involve no pictures at all. It is like a drug and it affects your brain the exact same way as sugar and cocaine. Do the research before you make the claims. I’ve experienced it first hand before I ever read about it.

I used to print out pictures of my favorite models in the best position and after literally 1 or 2 days I would find an even better looking girl in a better position. It is an endless cycle because there is always a better looking model. Had tons of gallery link to pictures that I almost never visited more than 2 times that just became a long list of sites that I won’t even visit again. The genres escalated over the years and I’m not even going to go into detail there. In the beginning just watching any kind of porn period would make me hard as steel. I read erotica and that’s exactly how I got started. Literally, I listed that in the text. Addiction is a physical thing. Cell phone addiction is the same. We get the dopamine spikes from the sound and vibration of notifications. And that literally causes brain rewiring similar to that of a heroin addict. Brain scans show this.

So it doesn’t even have to be a visual stimuli to make your body need it. The rise and drops in dopamine are the short term effects. Long term how your body needs that steady influx of dopamine is the issue.

ANYTHING can trigger your dopamine response if you enjoy it enough. And ANYTHING can make you crave it if you associate happiness with it. Physical and Psychological dependence are far more intertwined than you make it out to be.

As I said before each new video clip and picture that you see spikes your dopamine. The pictures are like a single shot and the videos are like automatics. Websites got more complex which made it easy to see which girls were hot because you see thumbnails now instead of blue links. It is so accessible which makes it even more dangerous for people today.

Then there was the crazy website redirections. After you click a thumbnail it would make a new website pop up with tons of thumbs of even hotter girls that you never seen before. It is an endless vortex.
