Hey everybody. Just thought I will tell you that yesterday after a workout (body), I decided to do manual stretches. I usually do the squat pull, so I was by myself and stretch my legs to the side (split), so I pulled it to the left and felf a pop on the left side, and the I pulled it to the right and it popped on the right side. I felt like alot of tension was release. I usually get a pop when stretching downward but this felt extemely good. Just thought I would tell you guys.

Where did the pop occur ? Your ligs or in the tunica of your penis?
Why did it feel good? Just because you feel good about your unit looking bigger now? Or because of some other weird reason?

“Pop” doesn’t sound like a thing you would want to get while doing PE IMO. Last time I got a “Pop” when I had a penile fracture (accompanied by a little “Pop!” sound) during sex with an ex-gf.. I didn’t think about going to a doc then.. Stupid as I was.. Scar tissue occurred, successively resulting in a downcurved bent in my penis.. It’s never been the same since then..

Pop! => ARGH :)

P.S: It’s been getting a little better thanks to precise and mild jelqing on the spot.. Still a _long_ way to go.

A penile fracture during intercourse and popping ligs is two different animals. If he claims he has no problem with it, then it should not be a malicious thing to worry about. Tons of people have pops or a cracking noise like knuckles make when doing this PE stuff. The amount of weight, angle, etc… you had during sex is way different then somebody pulling on their ying yang like an unwinterized chainsaw for yardwork.

If I crack my right ankle every morning when I get up by rolling it, that doesn’t mean my foot is messed up. Just that air is being forced between the joint or skeletal/musculature structures.

Well yeah I can see why your hand or ankles do the crackling, but why would ligs start to crackle (except when ripping to an extent) ?
Air in a muscle? Now that sounds nasty.. :)

In any case I’m just thinking off my current lig injury when saying “be afraid”.. It didn’t hurt at all when I first did the overstretch (unknowingly, thinking it was a mild stretch) and it actually felt very good.
The pain started when I got a 120% erection about 12 hours later without sleeping in between (which is what I’m still struggling to get to heal again.. cant..resist..the PE! ;) ).


It is a “bubble” of trapped air between two sinewy units. This would usually be at a joint where other connective tissue is. Pressure is placed on it and the “bubble” for lack of a better word squeezes out under force. I am sure a person skilled in anatomy or who speaks your language could explain this way better than I am now.

I had a loud pop once during lig streches and I immediately stopped PE for a short while and gradually started again. Scared the crap out of me but nothing was broke. I would take it easy and know that you have found your limits.

YS, does your shoulder or knee not pop during workouts/daily habits? It’s the same principle. I hear a pop every time I stretch downward, it’s nothing to worry about.

Ys, the pulling is not forceful. I just get the yang and pull to the side and it pops. Its not the tunics. Its at the base on the side. I will say that I had previously done cranking and with force and I felt that I got a discomfort so I stopped. So I stretched yang and it popped. It does not look bigger after it pops. It felt good as if pressure came out of the location. I am not saying to get the yang and pull it forcefully or yank it to make it pop. Hell I wouldn’t to it myself. I just pulled and it popped and it felt good

I’m still kinda careful when it comes to popping sounds related to my unit.. I guess I’m still having a slight trauma on these sounds.

Before I pe’d I would bend it to the right then to the left and I could get it to crack or pop both sides

This has been discussed numerous times. Do a search for “pop” or “popping” and you should find several threads on it. I have a serious popping every once in a while, mostly when I don’t warm up for more than 10 minutes. To my knowledge, no one has ever suffered damage from it. Now if you were screwing and heard a loud pop, that’s bad. Like TT said, that is a different pop alltogether.


I just did a little research. The penile ligaments (suspensory and fundiform) attach to the pubic symphysis. THis is the spot that you push the ruler against to get bone pressed measurements. The pubic symphysis is actually made of fibrocartilage, not bone.…h/cartilag.html

It’s possible that “lig pops” are essentially the same phonomenon as knuckle cracking. Here’s a description of what happens when you crack your knuckles:

Scientists explain that synovial fluid present in your joints acts as a lubricant. The fluid contains the gases oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. When you pop or crack a joint, you stretch the joint capsule. Gas is rapidly released, which forms bubbles. In order to crack the same knuckle again, you have to wait until the gases return

There is some debate as to whether knuckle cracking causes arthritis. If the analogy between knuckle cracking and lig pops is correct, there may be a similar question as to whether repetitive or habitual lig popping causes arthritis in the pubic symphysis. From what I’ve read, however, knuckle cracking does not cause arthritis, although it may lead to other types of joint injury.
