From the side also gives me about .5” more. My theory was the pubic bone is not flat but slightly Convex! It means it has a curve to it, so that to the side it is going to show larger.

Also if you push the ruler in just over the top of the penis, the penis will withdraw a bit due to a suspensitory lig being compressed and pulling back on it. I put the edge of the ruler just to the right of the lig not to have this effect.

BPFSL vs. NBPFL

I wanted to know what’s the reason for measuring BPFSL as apposed to NBPFL? Same question goes for erect measurements as well. I see some who do NBPFL and NBPEL measurements instead of BP. Is this just a preference?

When erect I see the possible reasoning if one has a “fat pad” that is obscuring partial penis length. So here it makes sense. What’s the logic behind it though? Please be as specific as possible in the explanation of both measuring criteria and why it is done in that fashion.

It’s the same sort of thing. Also, if you are stretching yoru dick out you may be getting some base skin pulling that you need to counteract as well. By doing BPFSL rather than NBFSL you get around that problem.

Measuring from the side is good if you want to inflate your size… I doubt it’s very good for consistently tracking progress. I can squeeze out almost an extra inch by doing the side BPEL.

Hell if I’m going to inflate my size i’m going to measure from the bottom and pick up a full inch. That’d still be more honest than most of the guys on the internet who just flat out lie.

Side: like 8.8-9.0 inches. It varies and like mentioned already, I might be able to cheat or get a little more from the side length.

Standing from top BPEL- 7.9 inches, Sitting from top 8.3inches, Sitting from side 8.7 inches. I can understand that to track gains, you should measure from the same position everytime, but if you want to compare yourself to averages what measurement should be used? Anyone know how they measured in the Kinsey or Durex study??

There is a difference of a few millimeters in my case. I don’t have any excess fat or skin above the pubic bone. You just press the rulers against either the pubic symphysis or the pubic tubercle part of the pubic bone. Side length is some millimeters shorter than top length.


Initial stats; BPEL 8.5 inch, EL 8.3 Inch, EG 6.4 inch. Goal; EL +1 inch, EG: Not a priority. Equal girth along the shaft.

Progress: 5 weeks: BPEL: 8.8 inch. (+7mm) EL: 8.6 inch (+7mm). SL: 8.9 EG: 6.7 averaged out (+4-8mm. Growth though failing to create equal girth along shaft)
