Plateauing

Any plateau nightmare stories to share?

Anyone figure a good way to break a plateau?

I had great gains in my first year stretching, but then suddenly stopped gaining , and no matter what I did nothing happened until I began to hang.

I have gained about 1/4” in the last few months hanging without rest days and I’m confident that hanging is doing it for me, much to my relief.

Began December 2009 at 5 7/8" length and 5" girth.

As of December 5th 2012 7 3/8" BPEL and 6 1/8" base girth.

Going for the magic 8"x6"

Hey A, hate to barge man, but how much time were you spending stretching per day when you reached your first year? And how many weeks/months did you go when you decided that you had plateaued?

You did only stretch or jelq+ stretch?

Started october 2011 :

BPEL 13.5 MSEG 14 BEG 14.5

Today : BPEL 14.3 ,MSEG 14 BEG 14.5

I got some gains in length and girth during my first 9 months in PE (mainly jelqs plus some stretches). Then I hit a plateau. I’ve been there since 22 months.

I have tried all the exercises I know to try to break it, but in vain . I have tested hanging too, but I haven’t found a device that suits me (I am uncircumcised). So I have never been able to go on a regular routine. However, I am convinced that this will allow me to break this plateau. So I keep searching for the suitable hanger.

Guys! There is no point at all continuing when you are not getting gains! Why waste loads of time a day doing PE for nothing? Take a 6 month break, then go back to it slowly and bask in the easy initial gains. Even if you don’t get any (unlikely) at least you have saved loads of wasted time.

I went too intense on my first year of PE and gains hit a dead stop after a few months. Nothing got them going for the next few months. I took a year off and started again. Job sorted.

All injuries happen from "too much", or "too much, too soon" or "doing the exercise incorrectly".

Heat makes the difference between gaining quickly or slowly for some guys, or between gaining slowly instead of not at all for others. The ideal penis size is 7.6" BPEL x 5.6" Mid Girth. Basics.... firegoat roll How to use the Search button for best results

There is an old saying that goes something to the extent that “insanity” can be defined by keep doing the same things but expecting different results.

If you hit a plateau, change things up.

As I said, I’ve tried almost everything, including breaks. The last one lasted 4 months and then I restarted doing the Newbie routine. I thought that this time would have been sufficient. Your opinion?

How much did you gain when you came back after the year?

First two month I shot up from 6.6 to 7.5 in length and 5.5 to 5.6 Girth. For the next 4 month I didn’t gain anything.

Had a 2 month decon now and just started hanging to see what the impact it like.

I used a mechanical stretcher in a hot bath for half an hour per day, five on two off, for about a year.

I noticed that I wasn’t gaining and tried jelqing and clamping but I could never quite master the jelq, as I didn’t really have enough flaccid to work with in those days.

I did manual stretches for a while but in my reading here I concluded that I was just making my ligs even mre resilient.

I was hesitant to hang for fear of injury and the sheer time commitment and it took until this year for me to finally try, and I’m pleased that I did, as I’m now seeing results again.

Regarding jelqing, I think it was the clamping that improved my flaccid so that I could get a grip, finally!

In retrospect I wish that I’d gone the newbie route. But I was determined to do it my way.

Hahaha, well thanks for giving us new guys some insight!

If you are at the ‘nothing working’ stage of heavily conditioned, I’d say a minimum break should be 6 months, and a year would be a lot better.

I don’t have notes from all those years ago, but it re-started my gains. Guess that’s all that matters!

After about a year of PE and nearly 1” of gained BPEL, I was doing up to 55 minutes of stretching per session. Haven’t gained any length since then, though I must admit I’ve had consistency problems as well, I could never stay dedicated like I was in first year. I’ll try to fix that with hanging now that I’m deconditioned and well overdue to start again.

I’m seriously cosidering taking a few months break and cutting absolutely everything out. I think I started too intense at the beginning and messed myself up. I’m going to hang 10hrs a week until I hit 7.5kg as I most people seem to gain around the 15lb mark and if I still get no results I’ll throw in the towel for a year. I think what firegoat is saying is so true, the time wasted can be ridiculous…on the plus side you gained an inch already!
