Philadelph's Philosophy of Newbie Gaining

Philadelph's Philosophy of Newbie Gaining

Since I began my journey into the wonderful world of PE on Feb. 14 2004, I have spent so many hours on this board. I have read everything I could possibly get my hands on. At first, I was skeptical like most, but after seeing the results posted on this FREE forum, I thought this stuff might work.

I dove head first into a manual stretching and jelqing routine. I put in my time. At least an hour a day. One month later I had gained. I took pics, and that even motivated me more. My gains pushed me to work even harder.

Since starting PE I have gained a completely solid 3/4 inch. When I measured from the side today I read 8 inches! (from the top, I measure 7.5) I am so pumped up about this.

The point of this post is this:

When you are new to PE, your tissues are the softest they are ever going to be. The reason I think I gained so well is that I hardly took any days off for length training, and I jumped right into a hanging routine which I have been at for 2 weeks now.

I think newbies should start slow on the girth excercises and jelqing to avoid injury, but should train length as hard as you can while the tissues are soft. Stay sore as much as possible. If this means starting hanging pretty soon then so be it.

Congratulations on the gains you made!

Sounds like a sound theory to fast, n00b gains.

Great gains Phil!!!!!

That’s awesome to be at 8 already!!!! (you lucky bastard) :-)

My Current Stats: NBPEL : 7.5" BPEL: 8.0" EG : 6.0" GOAL ACHIEVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just Maintaining......

I did gain quite a bit from manual stretches when I was a wet behind the ear greenhorn. Now that I am a wet behind the ear old timer I still think you don’t need to jump into hanging when you first start PE. Hanging is great, I love it, but that is another can of worms that in a way is based off of basic things that you learn about your body when you start with manual stretches. (Just my opinion.)

That’s some very impressive gains there! I started about the same time as you, 2-10-04, and I have been pretty consistent with my routine. I stretch and jelq 1-2 hours 5 days a week. Sadly, I have not notice any gains at all. However, hearing stories like this one is always motivating and inspirational. I am even a little jealous…hehe…but keep up the good work and keep us updated!

Well done Phil,
Nice gains mate!

But I do agree with Tom.
I think its like learning to run before you can walk, sure it’s possible but it may also be dangerous.

Advice needed

wow… very impressive Phila.

So some background then a question for the Veterans and you..

I’m a relative newbie and have mostly been spending my time on perfecting my routine, how to wrap, how to jelq to avoid injury (I get some pain on the pinky side of my wrist after an intense session) and have had a few times I was unable to do any PE for weeks- The GF visited. I’ve probably logged less than 30 hours of hanging and maybe 30-50 hours of other PE.

Now I’ll be heading out for about a month and at most will be able to get in a little stretching and maybe some dry jelqing (which I try and avoid) and possibly (very unlikely) some wet jelqing.

So Phila and the Veterans- should I stop PE now and not even worry about it while I’m gone and then go at it hard when I get back? I’d hate to get an extra 2-10 hours of PE in over the next week and try and sneak some in while traveling just to have it be counterproductive.

Stubby, since you have not been into PE for too long, I don’t think you would benefit from deconditioning, so I would keep doing whatever you can manage to fit in to maintain or make some new gains.

I should mention that the way I went about PE may not work for everyone. I never experience pain, just constant fatigue. Everyones dick is different.

One thing that I remembered reading from one of the hangers was that your dick will grow with enough stress placed on it, it is just mechanics. That really helped me.
