Permanence of discoloration from clamping

No. I think it will all be gone eventually. The peels have been very effective. If the discoloration is bad, several peels may be needed. I think I did 5 before mine was completely removed.

Tatoos mark the skin by applying ink to its lower layers. Discoloration from clamping results when iron is deposited to the lower layers of your skin. They are very similar. Lasers can be used to remove tatoos, and I’d bet they would work for discoloration as well. Who knows? Maybe tatoos can be removed with chemical peels?

I can’t say whether discoloration from clamping is really different from that caused by hanging. I think both are caused by placing blood vessels under extreme pressure. Even if the causes are different, the effects seem to be the same, and I’d guess the treatment is likely to be the same.

Well, my fear is that although the effects appear to be similar, in reality the clamping may be depositing color in skin at tattoo-depths (thereby being much more permanent) whereas clamping produce deposition of color at bruise/hickey depths, which of course is not permanent. After all, permanent tattoos are every bit as visible as surface bruises that go away in a week’s time are.

Well, I guess since the information isn’t out there but I definitely want girth then I simply am going to have to take this risk and pray that some deep peeling will do the trick down the line. It’s not nice to think about how your dick is getting darker every time you clamp though.

In above post I meant “whereas hanging produces deposition of color at bruise/hickey depths” (meant “hanging” rather than “clamping”)

I don’t understand why discoloration from clamping would be any deeper than discoloration from hanging. As far as I can tell, discoloration is discoloration.

My theory is just that clamping causes very high pressure from within the veins to throughout the entire penis, whereas clamping is trauma from the outside, likely primarily doing things like breaking capillaries on surface rather than causing deep veins to experience wide increases in internal pressure and concomitant seepage of blood into tissues that blood otherwise is rarely present in. I imagine the skin is great at healing up the former as it’s part of day-to-day life as it’s evolved for, whereas the latter involves the presence of blood in much more unusual locations. I agree there’s probably huge overlap among the two different types if there is any difference at all, however nonetheless I can still easily see how there could be true differences that would result in clamping discoloration being much more long-lasting and harder to address with things like skin peals.

I hope there’s no difference. However it’s discouraging for me to hear that merely two months of clamping can cause all-around darkening of the dick that is still noticeable a year later.

So I guess its the good old cost benefit equation. Half an inch of girth is worth having a two toned dick in my opinion. Its a no brainer.

I experienced some discoloration when I started my overzealous clamping routine. It was obvious what was causing it because the discoloration started where the clamp ended.

After backing off, the discoloration subsided, so I feel that discoloration is not permanent if your workouts are moderate.

Were you able to continue increase girth with a level of clamping that didn’t cause discoloration though? That would appear to be the million dollar question to me.

That’s the reason I decided to clamp. I knew and thought of the potential discoloration but said fuck it for the potential size. Now that I think about it, what a risky move, oh well. I won.

I still manage to get 0.625” of expansion in my workouts. I started to incorporate moderate pumping in addition to clamping and manual exercises so I didn’t feel the need to do the ‘squeeze your two hands together to get that last click’.

I’m wondering if pumping has somehow helped in decreasing the amount of discoloration. Possibly a combination of lighter clamping and pumping?

I have just begun PE again after about 11 weeks of deconditioning. My discoloration, which came mostly from pumping and hanging, did lighten considerably. However, it’s still there, and can be seen clearly when I stretch my flaccid penis. It doesn’t seem to be nearly as noticeable when erect. I’ve been kicking an idea around for awhile. If we are in agreement that it is iron and minerals trapped between the skin layers, would wrapping with a magnet bring them to the surface eventually? The type of magnet would have to be something like those refrigerator magnets that they put calenders on, or maybe the stuff you buy so you can make magnet photos. It’s just an idea. Anybody else think this is worthwhile, or am I pissing in the wind?

The iron would have to be mobile, and I doubt that it is.
