No mention in the abstract on whether this was bonepressed or non-bonepressed, but 11.58 plus or minus 1.45 cm equals a low end of 4.0" stretched, a mean of 4.55" stretched, and a high end of 5.13" stretched. I’m guessing that this is NOT bonepressed.

NBPEL: (5.08+5.88+5.01)/3 = 5.32”
BPEL: (5.35+5.7+5.58)/3 = 5.54”
FSL: (4.92+5.31+4.88+5.12+5.30)/5 = 5.1”
BPFSL: (4.92+4.21)/2 = 4.56”
Combining all values: (5.32+5.54+5.1+4.56)/4 = 5.13”

The point of this thread is to reduce the number of such threads. When the topic of average length comes up, as it often does here among newbies, a simple link to this thread provides as comprehensive of an answer as they’re going to find.

It seems that there’s ample evidence to conclude that 5-6” is an average length, using ordinary (non-PEers’) measurement techniques. If you have reason to think this is false, you’re welcome to add something to the discussion.

You seem to have missed the “S” part of FSL (stretched). Many PEers report FSLs longer than their ELs, but this is probably due to extreme stretching; the studies’ data suggest that a more moderate FSL, conducted by medical personnel, tends to be slightly shorter than EL.

This site provides flaccid and erect penis sizes by country, with sources cited, and concludes that the average erect penis is 14 cm, or 5.5 inches.

IMHO, there is no average.
Average penis size is vague, obscure.
The Void is the land of penis size average. If you discuss it, you just enter the Void… and there’s no life… in the VOID!
Let’s just say average penis size is X. If you’re bigger than X, good for you!
