Penis Size: The True Average

It’s hard to find more info. I was trying to look at the iranian study, which has many subjects as well. I also found a couple other studies. This is the korean one posted here, it has more info though:

It also has links to a different, earlier korean study. That study reported the same average, but a larger standard deviation. It also has a link to a malaysian study. I’ve been trying to find info on that and I just couldn’t. So again, if people have access to these things, I’m interested in reading about it.

Well that is a novel theory, but it’s more likely that any perceived order is merely a coincidence, especially in the absence of a mechanism to support why that would even happen. The problem with trying to extrapolate any kind of geographical relationship from this data lies also in determining the degree of variability in study methodology, and of measurement (and there are ones that obviously *don’t* fit the predictions of the model, like Jordan and Nigeria)

4/2008 Bpel 6.50, Beg 5.5, Mseg 4.9

6/2008 Bpel 6.75, Beg 5.5, Mseg 5.1

9/2008 Bpel 7.00, Beg 5.5, Mseg 5.1

When you consider the number of data points, and anecdotal evidence about asian guys, no, it’s probably real. A mechanism for this would be great to have, but it’s absolutely not essential to establish a pattern. The methodologies show every sign of being pretty uniform. As for nigeria, that’s not in eurasia. Maybe we can find some african pattern as well, but there has been very little gene flow between subsahara africa and eurasia/north africa in the last several millenia. Jordan? Perhaps it’s an outlier (every pattern has outliers), maybe there’s also a north-south pattern, maybe it’s just those differences in methodology you talked about.

So, explain the “gene flow” theory - and the east to west progression you referred to, what is the connection there?

There’s been more gene flow between europe and asia than between europe and africa, so we should expect more distinct patterns east/west as large differences close to each other should disappear. I have no idea why it’s bigger on the western side.

The mean BPFSL for Brazilian 18-year-olds was 5.71”, while the 90th percentile was approximately 6.61”.

The participants in this study were randomly selected from patients visiting physicians for ordinary check-ups.

Several points on the studies discussed here

1. In the Brazilian study (see graph above) as The age of the participants gets older the penis length distribution curve becomes less Gaussian with a skewing to higher values. This is especially noticeable in the 19 year old group. Unless penis length distribution is non Gaussian in adults - unlike the length distribution of every other part of the body - there is clearly a subject selection bias even in this study. So the mean value of ~ 5.7 is if anything on the high side.

2. The soldiers in the Italian study volunteered. There may have been some pressure on them but again if anything it will be biased slightly high.

3. Bone pressing does not completely eliminate fat pad thickness so there is some ambiguity as to how much to add on. For young adults such as in the Italian soldier study - who have a pad thickness of approx 0.75 inches based on other studies - probably adding 0.5” for BP is more accurate than the full 0.75.

Looking at the published studies in which there were staff measurements (I have read the original versions of all of them) cited at the beginning of this thread I think the median BP SL from a population of young healthy males with adequate nutrition (which can be assessed by average height being 5 ft 8 or above) is no more than 5.5 - 5.7 ”

The BPEL is probably similar.

There is a lot of debate on this thread about the “number of big dicks” out there. Here’s my anecdotal 2 cents. I’m 32, black, attractive enough, good career etc and live in NYC. I do decently with women. As of last week, I have had sex with 33 so far.

I am approximately 7.75 BPEL x 5.7 EG, which is definitely above avg, but the real question I think many wonder about is - how big does a penis have to be before women generally agree that it’s BIG.

While I do get penis envy at times (damm you, porn), I know to keep my mouth shut and play it cool because confidence is what attracts women (and keeps you in control of yourself). Thus, I never ask women “is the size OK” or “do you think my dick is big” or “how big was your ex”. In fact, I don’t make any penis related comments at all to women, that is until I hear their opinion first, which usually comes out the first time we have sex.

And you know what? I’m almost shocked if they don’t make a comment about how big it is, sometimes even commenting that it’s too big. And I date white, black, asian and latina women. And, being black, many of the women that I date are ‘into’ black guys, so they have seen a number of black penises (take that to mean what you will about the stereotype).

Are there bigger men out there? Sure. Are there bigger men in here, of course. But, I’m telling you honestly, about 90% of the women that I have slept with make unsolicited, very positive comments about a 7.75 BPEL. So, whatever size the average is, I can tell you that from my experience, many women seem to think that a 7.75” is quite big. So far this year it’s been called “huge”, “too long”, “intimidating”, “never seen anything like that” and my personal favorite “that thing is dangerous”.

And these are the same typical NYC women that don’t hesitate to demean my choice of restaurant or insult my apartment. So I’m taking their compliments as honesty, not flattery. And some of them definitely, absolutely get around, so they’ve seen their share of penis.

This would lead me to believe that there aren’t too many 8 and 9” cocks lumbering around out there if most of the women I’ve been with are telling me how impressed they are with a 7.75”, with no prompting on my end. Does that mean I am the biggest they have had? No. But it means that by their standard, 7.75” is apparently rather rare.

Current 7.85" BPEL (7.25" NPBEL) x 5.75" MSEG| 6.25" BEG | 5" Flaccid Length

Goal 8" NBPEL x 6.25" MSEG

Bone pressing should eliminate the fat pad, so you would never add on any additional length if the study is bone pressed. Bone pressed means pressed to the pubic bone, usually with descriptive terminology such as “from the meatus to the pubic symphysis”. If it’s not bone pressed it will say so.

Haha, 33 total.not 33 last week. I was a virgin until 21 and after getting out of my first serious relationship at 25 things just went downhill. Or uphill. Well, not sure which but I know a hill was involved! As of now I’m averaging a new woman every 6 weeks or so? Trying to stay ‘single’ at the moment, but keeping a couple of “friends with benefits” around of course.

What is your NBPEL?

Also, do you hear more commentary about your length or girth?

Great post, mr. black! Everything you said rings true with my experience, too. Your comment about the NYC women insulting your choice or restaurant and your apartment made me laugh :D

Para-Goomba, I did a survey of the statistics in Thundersplace database about beginning penis size, mainly to see where I fit in the size survey. What I found was this. Very few less that 4 1/2 ” and very few above 7 1/2 “. about 25 % measured between 5 1/2 an 6”, 50% or so 6 to 6 1/2”, and another 20% or so, 6 1/2 to 7”. Did it out of curosity. So much for my 2 cents worth.

Yes, Mr. Black. I’m interested in knowing as well, do they comment more on the length or girth? Well, I’m pretty sure they are impressed by the length, but I wanna know about the girth.

Nice post, by the way. Inspirational!
