PE Scheduling Woes
From the time I started PE in the Fall of 1999 until the Summer of 2003, I was able to schedule my PE time in the early morning hours, in the 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. time slot. My wife left for work between 6:00 and 6:30 a.m.; it was my job to get the kids up and ready for school, which didn’t start until 9:00 a.m. from 1999 to 2001 and 8:35 a.m. in 2002 and 2003. This schedule gave me an ideal window of time to do my PE exercises. Early in the morning when testosterone levels are high, no interruptions from nosy wife or kids, it was the perfect setup. During this time in my life, I developed and regularly did the following routine four to five mornings per week:
Over time, I gained little over an inch in both length and girth doing this routine.
I was always reluctant to try hanging or pumping during these morning workouts because of the setup time involved and the chance that my kids would awake and be pounding on the bedroom door while I scrambled to hide PE equipment. I’ve always been fearful of hanging weights, always had visions of the weights dropping on the tile floor, and even worse, shattering a tile or two. Always made sense to me to do weight hanging in the basement or garage where the concrete floor would be less susceptible to damage. Using only my hands seemed to be the best way for stealth, since I could immediately hop in the shower if interrupted.
Well, all was fine (except that my gains had stagnated and I had hit a plateau some time ago) until school started this fall. My oldest daughter started going to a new school with an earlier start time that necessitated her getting up much earlier. She needed to be awakened at 6:45 a.m.; in the old days I was just past the warm-up phase of my PE routine at that time. Once she left for school, I had about 10 to 15 minutes before my younger daughter needed to be awakened. Adding further to the problem, my wife has been very inconsistent with her morning schedule and hasn’t been consistently going to work early as in the past. Often, she doesn’t leave until after 7:00 a.m. and she frequently works at home, one day per week.
To further compound my scheduling difficulties, my oldest daughter is staying up much later because of increased homework. On heavy homework nights, she has been staying up until 11:00 or 11:30 pm. doing homework (and getting help from me with her homework). My wife still goes to bed fairly early, usually between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. In a perfect world, my kids would go to bed earlier and I could PE in peace at that time.
However, by the time 11:30 p.m. rolls around, I often find it difficult to get motivated and spend the next 45 minutes to an hour doing PE, knowing that I have to wake up soon after 6:00 a.m. I have really related to SeanJacobs’ difficulties in scheduling PE. As SeanJacobs discovered, you can only sacrifice so much sleep for PE. Sleep is invaluable to the PEer, the longer you sleep, the more nocturnal erections you have, not to mention the fact that you need sleep to effectively function during the day.
On the nights when I do PE late at night, I have been doing a jelq and pump routine, since I can relax and watch TV during the pumping portions of the routine. However, I have never been able to get in more than 1 or 2 of these sessions per week.
For my morning routines, I have developed a streamlined quick workout that uses most of exercises from my original routine linked above. I am able to do this streamlined quick workout in 10 to 15 minutes, sometimes 20 minutes depending on time availability. Here’s what I do:
Rather than showering after doing PE, because of the scheduling constraints, I have started doing my stretch routine in the shower and my jelq and squeeze exercises after my morning shower. I have eschewed hot wraps with a washcloth, now I rely on the warm water from the shower to give me this effect. For the jelq and squeeze portion of the routine, I use cocoa butter for lube. Not only is it a great lube with an inherent warming feel, but it serves as a balm to prevent or soothe irritation my PE exercises and from my daily buzz with the Seiko Cleancut shaver. After I’m done with my jelq and squeeze routine, I just leave the cocoa butter on my dick and balls rather than washing it off. It soaks in after a while and leaves my package feeling well-moisturized and silky smooth. It also makes the skin a little darker, which I like. I also believe that using cocoa butter with Vitamin E on a regular basis facilities skin stretch and fades/eliminates stretch marks.
I have found that using this streamlined morning routine, I’m able to quickly get a good pump. My morning routine seems sufficient for long-term maintenance of my gains; nevertheless, I still would like to make more gains. I’m very frustrated, because the quest for more gains will invariably involve more late-night stealth PE. In talking with RB and others, it seems that I have reached a point in my PE career that I have achieved all I can with manual exercises, given the time constraints I have. The next logical step is hanging, something I have only dabbled in with a padlock hanger and a couple of times with golf swing weights. Several days ago, I built a Wench; however, I have been too tired to try it out late at night. I’m going out of town on business for a couple of days next week, I’m looking forward to getting acquainted with my Wench and getting in some quality PE time.
