Hi guys. I haven’t posted in a long time, but it’s good to be back. Hope y’all are making some good gains.

So I’m on a 5-on/2-off schedule, and tend to practice PE in the evenings before bedtime (the only time I have to myself to do it), mostly jelqing and stretching. I’ve noticed that even if I’m sleepy before my exercises, PE makes me wide awake, and I have a lot of trouble falling asleep later on. It’s not because I find it arousing or anything (far from it), but I think it’s because my body sort of responds to it like it does to any kind of physical exercise, which tends to induce insomnia in me if I do it too late at night.

Compounding the problem is that if I’ve had a good stretch workout and feel nice and long, and then climb into bed, I keep on getting the compulsion to tug on my unit as I feel him shrinking back to the normal length. This, too, prevents me from falling asleep readily. Anyone else have this problem? These days, I’ve been spending a lot of time on PE, but I waste even more time lying awake in bed afterwards.

I like to do at least a little PE before bedtime if possible. Some theorize that PE before bedtime is more beneficial, as the additional size is ‘reinforced’ by the natural erections that most men get during the night. I don’t have the same problem with insomnia following PE, so I can’t help you with that.

For me, at least a little light PE before bedtime increases the chance that I will wake with a morning erection, so for me, it’s a positive PI.

I do Bed Fowfers after PE on retiring to bed. Again, don’t know if it does any good, but it does seem to help keep things ‘at length’ without further effort for a good amount of time. Typically, I will wake up a little bit in the course of the night, as one of the overnight erections make things feel uncomfortably ‘trapped’, and have to adjust things back to my normal ‘untucked’ condition.

Swinteck - you might consider wearing a soft cock ring, for example in bed to maintain a semi erection. Other possibilities include ads (ans - all night stretching) techniques. With such a technique at least you wouldn’t have to think of shrinkage. Else, some strongly recommend ads/ans. ‘Never let it turtle’ - I think this was pronounced by big girtha.

I’m having problems with sleep lately too, I never thought it could be to do with PE. I also do my workouts before bedtime by the way.

Swinteck, with all due respect to ticktickticker, you should never wear anything on your dick during the night.

But I understand your problem, I had it too, and your soulution is fowfering.

You just have to put your penis between your legs and fall asleep laying on one side. No shrinkage that way.

Hey, thanks for your responses. Yeah, I think I’ll avoid wearing anything at night (too risky). I’ll try the fowfer thing, though in the short run, until I get used to doing it, I reckon it will also make it harder for me to fall asleep. I usually sleep on my back and need to be very comfortable (i.e., no stuck bodyparts).

I think I just need to be disciplined about doing some boring reading or something like that post-PE and before trying to fall asleep. I just got some scriptures from some missionaries for a religion I don’t believe in (I’ll leave the question of which one to your imaginations), and will use those as my bedtime reading, to start, in order to take my mind off my dick (and other things) as I’m trying enter snoozeland.
