PE and "Permanence"

I don’t know how scientific this is but ask any old man if there dick has shriveled up and they will tell you “Hell Yes!”

It just seems to be our lot in life, get shorter, fatter and stubbier. Heck, the only things that seem to get bigger as we age is our noses, ears and hairs, both eyebrow and earhole.

I just plan on jelqing for the rest of my life. Heck, I think it is fun and feels good. I don’t plan on doing it with a vengance as I do now. I will lighten up in a few years. But I do plan on a lifetime of excercise, good diet and jelqing in the shower. Just think of the dong you will have if you jelq for 10 years! Hey, there is something to be said about that. You are going to be 10 years older anyway, might as well have something to show for it besides big ears!

I like PE. I have pretty much done it all of my adult life. Just not on a routine as I do now. I always plan to do it because I like it. Some folks like to run and others like to smoke. I like to play guitar, fuck, take vacations and jelq in the shower! Heh Heh

That’s all I have to say about that…………..

Cheers to you all. Do good things.

I have no problem doing PE for a couple of years, I understand that gains only come with patience and persistence.. But for the rest of my life?? Thats just a joke of a notion to me. I am 19 years old and I came into PE thinking after a couple of years I would make maybe at least an inch gain and stop.. After all it is the penis we’re dealing with and permanent damage there isn’t exactly easy to deal with. I’ve already got enough things to worry about in life and I just can’t deal with making time to do PE everyday, I can tell it’s already taking a toll. I’m not one of those people who find PE enjoyable, I find it tedious and dangerous, I go through it everyday with a certain degree of uncertainty and anxiety. This is such a depressing thread for me, I don’t even know I want to continue PE anymore. I could try to go as long as I can, but I doubt it’ll be anything close to “the rest of my life”.

Hydroxpl,

Slow down and read the thread more carefully. There are plenty of guys who have achieved apparently permanent gains, and even the pessimists tend to agree that a relatively minimal maintenance routine will work. I don’t think anyone has suggested that lengthy PE routines will be required every day for the rest of your life for you to keep your gains.

Please :donatecar to Thunder's Place to keep it running.

Guys, I took 2 years off of PE. I gained about an inch in length, and 1/8 in girth. About half of this was from recouping a stronger erection. After quitting, with a typical erection I had lost at least half of this.

I just started back up again, and I have regained all of this, + a little more. I believe that the majority of gains was from regaining rock hard erections (thus not actually a gain). However, the increase I have now, was possible because I had done PE before and thus retained a good part of my gains. If you quit, the gains come back rapidly.

Well, having been a penis owner & operator for over twice your life-span now, all I can say is: you will have some kind of relationship with it for as long as you live, so a little maintenance probably won’t kill you — or your dick. It’s a pretty durable organ, by the way. I’m sure many here could vouch for that. Check out the injury thread and you’ll see it’s possible to recover from pretty dire circumstances, chicks named Loreena included.

It’s sounds to me like you’ve been having doubts well before reading this thread. The ‘uncertainty’ and ‘anxiety’ you feel comes from going into uncharted territory, if I were to hazard a guess. What are you doing that you’re worried about permanent damage? There are guys here who can hang heavy weights from the sucker and still get it up and HARD on a regular basis. Most of us jelq away, maybe all-day-stretch, various bends and squeezes, whatever appeals and feels right.

If you are worried I would start with the Newbie routines and go really slowly at first until you figure out what you tolerate, and what stresses your unit out -in a good way. In other words, tune it to your body and learn about it. Then you’ll have a feel for how far you can go. But trust me this stuff can definitely work.

I also hope you recognize that the concept of ‘permanence’ in anything in life is flawed concept. Whether it’s body-building, marriage or life itself there’s an expiration date. It’s just a fact. How you deal with that and what you do in order to maximize your experiences with any of these is really all you can bring to the table. And it doesn’t have to be scary or depressing - it can be a fun exploration.

This has been my experience exactly. Pre PE I was 6” to 6.25” on a good day. Then I read The Multi-Orgasmic Man in the summer of 2000 and began practicing to become an even better lover (a subject which I find can never have too much study), and in the book I found the section on making yourself bigger. The PE section of this book is very limited to be sure, but I began to do the stuff and got stronger erections and increased in size pretty steadily. Then I crapped out for a while, but found some stuff on the web and eventually joined Massive Member (for $50 bucks I wish I could get back) and found there were more ‘exercises.’ So over the next year I mixed these approaches up; not in a consistent, disciplined manner, but I did reach 7.25” in EL just about a year ago. Then I stopped it altogether last March or so and went down to 6.75”. Since January, when I joined here, I’ve regained that size, plus a little, in much less time than it took to initially gain.

That’s been primarily Jelqing, stretching and squeezing.

So, I hope this gives you some perspective.

Worthy advice.

After: I\'d like to show you something I\'m very proud of, but you guys in the front row will have to stand back.

Like so many others here have said, I wouldn’t have a problem doing a maintence PE program once I hit my goals. Once I hit my goals, if the price of maintaining those goals is a simple PE maintence program then I’d consider it a small price to pay. Of course that’s just me.

After spending 4 hours out of your day with a hanger (for 2 hours actual penis hanging time)- a 15 minute jelq session every few nights is a much welcome routine if that’s what will keep any gains. I’m deconditioning currently and I will measure and start up a PE routine (very basic) and build up agian as I once did. Looking at my calender, my gains came from jelqing and stretching and stopped when I got lazy. Hmmm- makes me wonder…

PEing since Jan 1st, 2003

Hm…like Tom Foolery said on the 2nd page:

It all comes down to weather you believe in micro-tears or not.
If we could rely in the “Yes” or the “No” of the answer to this question we could believe more in PE and be more enthusiastic or we can throw our plans away even before we begin because we know that it doesnt really work.

There could even be some long-term issues like e.d. because you stretched a tissue that has an own “programmed” direction, straight out and a bit up, so hanging down with weights could be very bad….
And even if the cells start to grow…..could this develop into cancer where the cells grow/divide without a stop??

These are all issues we can’t push away from us. We have to think about this.

The main point I am talking about in here is:

Why can’t this question about the micro-tears be answered?
I dont like people discussing ,assuming something or believing in something but all they all really know it nothing…..we need facts and not assumptions. And in the cellular biology there should be an answer. Since a certain time there are lots of experiments with artificial skin to restore burnt skin, there can also be some answers…..

The best thing would be if some doctors or biologists answer this simple question and let all us know of the answer:

“Do the cells of a tissue divide if its pulled over a long time?”

Someone has to search for it, I don’t know where…..

My goal: from 11.9 cm NBPEL to 18 cm NBPEL (~7 ") ...now or never...!!!! after 5 weeks(and a long break): 12.5 cm NBPEL

Will minimal maintenence maintain girth

I’m very new to this whole thing, and mostly what I’m concerned with is girth. Currently I’m 7 x 4.75 and I don’t really have a length issue (I bottom out with most lovers). I want to be girthy—much more so than I am now. I want the tighter contact and increased surface area that brings about. After all, ‘that’s what really matters’, right?

What worries me is that girth seems to be the easiest thing to lose, and I haven’t seen too many folks on here claiming that they retained their girth gains much at all even after a few months break. I also don’t plan on using any hard-core hardware like hanging or clamping, just the totally manual stuff. Personally I could care less about ligament micro-tears being permanent because that’s not what I’m after.

I used a pump for a brief period and got impressive girth gains (in retrospect, probably from a buildup of lymph fluid) but they were gone in a matter of weeks when I stopped. What’s the difference between that and the manual excersizes, if any? Is there hope? Before I commit to months of rigorous routines and discipline (not necessarily my strong suit, I have ADD and would probably have to keep a log, set alarms, etc.), I’d at least like to know that it will make a long-term difference. Can even one person give me a story that they stopped for several—make that more than four—months and didn’t lose nearly all of their GIRTH or ‘volumetric’ gains?

Lastly, I’m not opposed to some once-a-week jelqing in the shower once I’ve gotten ‘where I want to be’ (about 5.5 EG or more), but will this work to maintain all the girth gains or will only length be retained? Perhaps I was overly optimistic but this thread is depressing!

Ok, I’ll add something here. I started Oct 06 2005, not too long long ago. I have not measured yet but the little guy started out at 6.5 BPEL and 5” girth 1” from the glans, base is slightly less. I have been doing the newb routine and I must say, not only does it look bigger and feel bigger, it feels stronger during sex. Like how a strong muscle feels during a workout. I also have been wearing 3 golf weights most days(time off does not exceed 24 hours). I think that what I’ve learned is that either you get and keep gains with a maintenence routine or you condition your penis for really good sex. I mean I’m never going to stop if I can have a healthier penis. Woke up this morning and there he was, standing taller than usual, ready for battle. My wife agrees that I’m getting bigger also. If more guys just stopped masterbating so much and focused more on PE exercises there wouldn’t be so many Bi curious females out there. Ok, maybe that wouldn’t stop them but they would most certainly be more satisfied with their men. I love PE and so does my wife. Measurements coming soon on Nov 06, and I don’t care if I haven’t grown yet. My unit is stronger from it and so far so good. Never let it turtle.

Snapshot asked: “Can even one person give me a story that they stopped for several—make that more than four—months and didn’t lose nearly all of their GIRTH or ‘volumetric’ gains?”

I PE’d in the early 90s for a couple of years and went from NBPEL 5.7 EG 4.75 to 6.0 x 5.5. I quit for a decade, and started up again recently at the same dimensions I quit with. In the last few months I’ve gained 0.75 in length, and am pushing 5.75 in girth. Note that I lost NO length and NO girth in about a decade of layoff. I never did pumping, and I never did a scheduled regime; I’d say that my PE back then was no more than twice a week, and short sessions at that.

This thread sure is scary. But I don’t care anyway, I’m young and I will go hardcore PE for 10 years till I reach 9x7 and then I’ll keep conditioned.

But I agree with the ones saying that it’s still worth the trouble. I’m into bodybuilding as well and I will quit the day when I’m in a wheelchair.
One of the most important things in life, is to take care of your body.

My guess is that we can simply put the “Tissue Building” theory in the trashcan.

There is no tissue being added by any form of PE. It’s only about stretching tissue to it’s max potential. It’ll stay some time in this enlarged state, but it’ll always return to it’s natural form, even if you PE’d for 10+ years.

We have to live with what we got, or we have to PE for the rest of our lives, now what do you choose ?

-= Official Peyronies sufferer =- Starting size (12/2004): 5.6" BPEL - 4.6" EG.

Current size (02/2007) 5.6" BPEL - 4.6" EG.

Current GOAL : 6.0" BPEL - 5.0" EG. (50€ Donation for every goal I reach)

I don’t agree with that at all I think it’s a little of both stretching and tissue growing, but in order not to lose size we do need to do some sort of penis exercises for good.

Hmm, I stopped PEing ages ago. I lost a bit after I stopped but since then my gains have been stable and I do no maintenance exercises.
