Hey, I noticed the other day that both my steel rulers have a one/eighth inch space at the beginning of them. Is everyone taking this extra measurement into account when sizing themselves, or are some short changing themselves that one/eighth inch, which may make them hit one of their goals?

I’ve noticed it also, I’d say, yes, its approximately an 1/8th of an inch, good point. My ruler is plastic so it seems to be pretty common huh?

It depends on the ruler. Mine doesn’t have the 1/8” gap.
I’ve got one with and without it( I use the one without)…haha
Better check my ruler. If it’s true then I’m lacking an eight of an inch there…
