I’d like everybody to post what their diet typically consists of and how much they have gained. There is definitely a link between PE and nutrition, and hopefully with this thread people will become more aware of it’s importance and go on to make better gains. I’d also like to hear about people’s level of activity.

I hate to compare PE to bodybuilding, but as well all know, no bodybuilder gets anywhere without proper nutrition, and PE’ers should look at it in the same light.

Personally I made my biggest gains when on a healthy diet (consisting of oatmeal, tuna, eggs, rice etc. daily) and doing 30-60 minutes of cardiovascular activity each day. I kept this going for about 8 weeks and gained somewhere in the region of half an inch in length during this time, doing an hour PE workout 5 times a week.

Since Christmas I have gained a further 0.4” length doing very random PE routines, exercising 1-3 times a week for 20 minutes or so a time, and eating a high protein, moderate carbohydrate and fat diet (meat and vegetables). I also eat a lot of junk though these days.

I’m interested to hear about the big gainers (such as DLD and RB)’s nutrition and exercise level.

I eat mostly low carb (all healthy carbs, no junk carbs), adequate protein and health essential fats, more of a body builder’s diet, as I exercise regularly, mostly weight lifting, but recently started a program with my wife of weights and low level cardio.

But, don’t get too far up on the cliff, as I’m pretty sure DLD is gonna burst your bubble with his caffiene/sugar/starch/nicotine diet :)

Is this an assumption or do you have some research data to back it up? It’s likely true, but not because gains are directly related to diet. If one is eating healthy, he probably feels better about himself, has more energy, has a better outlook on life and therefore goes at his PE exercises with more determination. Men who don’t eat “right” can make gains, too. People just starting PE tend to make initial gains and if they’re eating right might attribute those gains to the diet rather than the initial stretch of the ligs that some see when first starting out.

What if the responses here show another trend? Please share more about this theory and how, exactly, diet can improve your gains by means other than those I’ve mentioned above.

My diet sucks. I’m 52 years old and 60 pounds overweight. I eat healthy for a day or two, then pass a box of donuts at work and can’t resist. My age certainly has an influence on my ability to lose weight and get healthy. Yet, I’ve been doing PE only two months and have seen approximately 1/2 inch in length gains. Some do PE for years without any gains. I doubt my diet had much to do with it.

Please understand I’m not being confrontational. It’s just that I understand human physiology and am just wondering how diet, by itself, can make your dick longer.

I’m a good gainer and I probably have the shittiest diet. I’m about 30 or so pounds over weight and I eat too much fat and drink 3 or so six of beer packs per week. I have gained about 2 inches in bpel and 5/8 inches in girth over 16 or so months.

Well, nutrition has a direct result on anything we do with our body.

If you eat less you’ll lose weight, if you eat more you’ll gain weight. If you lift weights and don’t eat lots of protein, you won’t gain muscle, but if you do eat lots of protein you’ll see gains. If you have an injury, the better your nutrition, the quicker you will heal… etc. etc.

No, I don’t have any specific studies (which is why I’m conducting this study), but clearly nutrition affects everything and in most bodily changes, it is the main difference maker. Do cardio and then eat absolute shit all day and you’ll still be fat… do you see what I mean?

Yes, I understand the general principle of better nutrition being good for the body, but I’m still not sure how you think diet affects the ability of the ligaments to stretch or the cells of the tunica or corpus cavernosa to expand. What nutrients in a “healthy” or balanced diet contribute to the ability of the penis to grow during PE and how do they do that?

I think it is certainly possible to grow muscle cells with weight training and without consuming “lots of protein.” Increasing the amount of protein in your diet will make available more of the amino acids needed for muscle growth, but it is possible to grow muscles without added protein in the diet. It’s not as black and white as that.

There’s no doubt that a better diet makes for a better man. I’m just not sure how it specifically relates to penile growth during PE except as I mentioned in my first post (feeling better, more energy, better outlook, etc.). Please share more of your thoughts.

A number of guys have noted a link between gains and cutting back on vitimin C. My diet is healthier than most and I am a slow gainer.

Don’t think that you will find a magick buttet on this, i.e. Good diet = gains.

I posted a little earlier on the connection between the conversion of estrogen to free testosterone, and how DIMS contribute to this.

Now, do stronger erections contribute to better gains in PE?

I think so.

The healthier you are, the more blood you can get circulating, the more you can get the tissues to expand.

I know, purely speculative, but it sounds reasonable.

Higher levels of free testosterone will also trigger more nocturnal erections. Some has been written about keeping the cock in an elongated/engorged state during recovery. This will occur more frequently with a body stoked on free testoterone.

I’ve read a few posts from men who have made astonishing gains in relatively short periods of time, and each time they credited their health for their gains.

Strictly hearsay, of course.

As for exercise…

I’m on a bulking program, currently. This goes against common wisdom, particularly with the PE crowd, but it’s really a safety measure. I’m one of those ectomorphs that struggled for years building muscles on “scientific” programs untill I read a few articles by John McCallum, an old school weightlifter who advocated intense, 20 rep breathing squats and a gallon of milk each day…and screw the rest.

Long story short, I put on 21 lbs in 6 weeks. My thighs increase 2 1/2” in that time, and my squat increased 100+ pounds. Everyone thought I was on roids. Hardest thing I’ve done in my life, but each day I woke up “bigger.”

Connection to PE? Interesting fact that heavy leg work will increase your arm size gains by roughly 20%, this has been observed time and again over the years, and the reasons are many. I’m talking too much (as always) but heavy leg and back work increases testosterone production and triggers GH.

I see no reason why this would not influence PE. At the very least (and this might, in fact, be the very most) with a bulk routine you are supplying so many nutrients, growth is inevitable.

So…

You apply a stimulus (jelqing, or whatever), increase your testosterone levels and stimulate GH release through intense lifting, go for a light run to get the blood moving, chow down on a diet loaded with DIMS to increase free testosterone, flood the body with nutrients and minerals…

And watch yourself grow.

I’m 30-40 lbs. overweight. My diet has been very shitty. High carb, high in bad fats, low in protein - basically junk food. Also way too much beer and nicotine. Very little exercise. My new diet and exercise plan starts next week, as usual. ;)

I’ll be up another 1/16” soon to make 1.5” total length gain.

For a brief time when PEing, I had a negative energy balance and gained. Later, I had a positive energy balance and gained. Generally, I had a bad diet while PEing and gained as I wanted. I already knew of the need for Vit. C to repair collagenous tissue. So from the beginning, I tried to limit my C intake to keep the ligs in a weakened state to attack the next limiting factors.

Just anecdotal, but I think diet has nothing to do with gains, except in possibly being able to stiffle repair and therefore increase the speed of gains with less effort.

I still want to here about gains from a scurvy sufferer. I think they would beat us all.

Hello Justin here.

My mate once told me about his erection problems while eating tea at a job I was on with him. At the time I was using Lorthine and L arginine for my weight lifting Programm. I had been told however that L Arginine has been used to to help cure impotence. Anyway I mentioned it to my friend and gave him ONE tablet that night. Next morning at breakfast (5am) for us back then he came, sat at the table and burst out saying what a massive boner he’d woken up with. He had told me about his erection problems before and said that he could have erections but never woke up with them anymore but the Larginine sure did seem to help. At the time we were working long shifts between 12 and 12.5 hrs a day and perhaps his old body was getting tryed out but he deffinitely reckons that morning erection in question he had was a result of the tablet I gave him and was not a as he would call it a PISS FAT.

( Still waiting to hear what DLD has been eating…heh. )

Well I’m kinda of a bodybuilder and eat as healthy as man can..to the point where some of you would think is stupid.

For example, instead of using butter or marge on bread, I use rape oil. (uh-huhhuhuh, he said “rape”…) ;)

Can’t say that my gains would’ve been tremendous, but atleast I AM gaining some.
