I know there is lots of threads on this but I wanted to share what works for me. When I first started clamping I would get blood spotting all over my shaft it would take days to heal so my routine was basically 1 on 2 off. The spotting I got was only using 1 clamp as well.

So discouraged with how clamping was going for me I decided to stop before I caused some permanent discoloration. 2 days ago I started a jelq heavy routine where I would stretch for like 10 or 15 minutes and then jelq for half an hour. After my jelqs I put on a cock ring (I don’t have a cock ring, so I used a hair tye folded over) and I noticed that the hair tye was just the right size to make me 0.25” girthier than normal and it caused no spotting or discoloration. At first I wore it for 30 minutes and when I took it off I was delighted to see no discoloration or spotting at all (it was slightly darker than normal for about 5 minutes after, then came back to normal color). I put it back on for an hour this time, and same thing, no discoloration.

Seeing this made me wonder if this thing can expand me 0.25” in EG for hours at a time with no discoloration, what would happen if I did this first and then clamped after. I figured since this expands me all ready that if I clamp, hopefully it wouldn’t get discolored. I tried, first for 10 minutes single clamped and there was no discoloration at all! so then I went for 10 minutes double clamped and again no discoloration! I have been doing this for two days now, clamping at high pressures double clamped and I have had zero blood spotting!

Mind you have to consider time into this… this is what the routine looks like:
5 minute bath, 30 minutes jelqing, 1 hour cock ring (hair tye), then clamping 30 minutes (10 x 3). This all comes out to just over 2 hours. But I have zero discoloration and can clamp with some pretty high pressures, and for a hard girth gainer like myself (one year of PE and 1/8” EG gained) this is a dream come true!

I know the time is a bit much.. I believe the same results could be achieved if you warmed up, jelqed for maybe 5 or 10 minutes and then the cock ring. Anyway I thought I would share.

Interesting idea. I wonder if for those of us who are new and want to tread lightly, could the hairtye alone be a gentle girth exercise in its own right?

Possibly, but remember, I am starting with a 4.5” girth here. I think the hairtye would be a bit too tight for girthier guys.
