Newbie Routine- More or Less?

When you started, would you say you:

1. Did the Newbie Routine almost exactly.

2. Did a routine that would be considered less intense in terms of quantity and days on/off than the Newbie Routine.

3. Did what would be considered more intense in terms of quantity and days on/off than the Newbie routine.

Then, if/when you changed your routine, which direction do you go?

What, if any, gains have you had?

Sept. 4, '07: BPEL 6.875 inches, EG widest 5.25

Goal: Double digits

#1, but not increasing jelqs to 30minutes.

So 1 and 2!

Start Dec 10 \'07: BPEL 6 2/16" | EG 5 1/4"

Feb 4: BPEL 6 11/16" | EG 5 2/4"

Short Term Goal: BPEL 7" | EG 5 3/4" Long Term Goal: BPEL 7 3/4 - 8" | EG 6"

When I initially started a while ago I over-did-it. I would go 5 days on and maybe 1 or 2 days off. Luckily I was not consistent and did not damage anything. Bottom line is, newbie’s should definitely read as much as possible before starting.

Option #2 for me.

And I got my best gains from it: about an inch in length, and around .3” in girth.

I am just starting the second month of a Newbie routine that is less intense in terms of quantity and days on/off than the “regular” Newbie Routine.

For example I don’t do more than 90 or 100 jelqs. Sometimes I do two days on/one off, but other times I will do one on/two off depending on whether my penis feels fatigued or not.

At any rate, so far I have had some good length gains with this.

As to the future, at some point (late this month or early february) I plan on adding an EXTREMELY light and “gentle” pumping routine to what I am doing now.

For what it is worth I tried PE back in 2002 or ‘03 with a much “harsher” routine. I think I only lasted about 2 weeks, too much stress on my system.

I did the newbie routine exactly for about 2 months, I think. I’m going to pull up my old workout thread, it has been so long.

I say option 3, then I realised how wrong I was. I then lightened up a whole lot. Did less then the Newbie Routine and started gaining. I’ve gained a hair less then 3/4 of an inch in length. I’m still doing less then the Newbie Routine and still gaining.

Erect: 7.625" BPEL and 4.875" EG BPFSL: 8.063 Short Term Goal: 7.75" x 5 Long Term Goal: BP 8.5 x EG 5.75

I did #1 or number 3 for about 2 months to get 1/2 inch.

I then did #2 and got a half inch in 1 month.

These times and gains are approximate, but the trend was readily apparent. Once I eased up, the gains were obviously much, much faster.

Also, I think the gains I got with #1 and #3 actually came in spurts when I had to take extra days off due to other time constraints, like being sick, too tired, or just not having the time. My log wasn’t good enough at that time for me to say for sure, but I do know my gains came in spurts during that time.

Now my gains are steady, almost predictable.

What made me start this thread, among other things, was a recent post by Pringles Can, who definitely would be in the #2 category.
