What everybody needs to consider is the various tissues that your dealing with. Not only are you trying to stretch the ligaments here but you also have to consider the time element for tissue growth. The tunica is very slow to grow and then nerves and blood vessels don’t develop quickly either. Obviously when Ligaments get stretched then other things begin their development. Thinking slow is necessary to prevent such things as a Thrombosis of a vain. When you get over enthusiastic, especially with jelqing, your creating a lot of pressure. That pressure needs to be moderated or it can cause damage. Read around a little and see how many guys have discoloration (a low form of damage).
So I guess my advise is, as others have encouraged in many threads:This is a long process. You’ve started on a process that could easily stretch into a few years of routines and exercises so don’t get the mindset that it is going to happen overnight, but have faith that “It will happen”

Tbilpidar, I lost about 1/2 inch. Pretty much quit cold turkey from the stress of divorcing etc.
I’m another one who started in the 1 wk of nov. I too have the same results with my body workouts. In just a couple of wks I’m bk in shape, thus, one of the reasons I thought my member could handle what I was bringing onto it. I was rotating my pe routines 3 days on 1 off for three wks, Then the Monday before thanksgiving I was told an injury I did to my shoulder three months bk needs surgery. It is set for the 1 dec., that following thurs. Talk about getting worried, not worried that my body won’t bounce bk from the surgery, but that I might loose what I gained from pe. So I had a brain storm, or so I thought, lets go at it then, I’ll rest thursday, friday, and sat after my surgery.So I have been PE for the past 8-9 days straight. Anyway today while I was at work and I went to the bathroom I noticed I wasn’t as full as I was 2 days ago. So I came home took a shower and PE my heart out. Straight turtle head. It wasn’t until I came about this thread, that what I have been doing is stupid. It is not that I”ve lost anything, but that my dick hasn’t had time to rest, I know my chest would be dead if I worked it for 9 days heavy. So tomorrow I’m going to rest hit it wed, rest thursday, and friday and start from there. Thanks for the insight on my stupidity and keep up the good work.
Hi tblpidar it appears that you went too hard too fast, you must condition your penis before you really start to go for it. Stick to the newbie routine for a while as was already mentioned. I found that during my newbie gains a good workout really hit the ligs they should feel stretched sore not painfully sore otherwise you are overdoing it. If you resume a workout the next day and the ligs still feel sore take it easy with light stretches or stop and wait until they feel better then hit them hard again (but without causing injury) this is what I contribute most of the “newbie” length gains to. Since then it has been much harder to stretch my ligs and my gains have slowed down considerably. Good luck man.
