New tutorial

Hey guys and gals,

lil12big1 has posted a new wrapping tutorial and a remix of the ADS tutorial. You will need the latest player, Flash 6 from Adobe: Creative, marketing and document management solutions to view these tutorials.

If you have problems with the player or want to give lil an "attaboy" ( believe me you will) please post in this thread. Oh, and wait for the movie to load, they are kinda long the first time they are loading. You can watch Speedy while they are loading and turn your speakers on. :D

Let me just say good job lil :D , I like it, only 1 prob for some reason when I’m watching the tutorial the volume cut’s out and then a couple seconds later it say’s that I’ve performed an illegal operation or something then it shut’s down my Internet Explorer. Has anyone had this problem, and if so how do I stop it from happening again. Thank you guy’s for the Tutorial I love it :) .

Did you get the new Flash 6 downloaded and installed? What version of IE are you using??

Hey ThunderSS, I downloaded and installed the new Flash Player 6, and my version of IE is 5.5 .

Are you using a dial up connection?? Try getting the video to reload fresh by hitting the refresh button and see if that helps. It may be a good idea to update your browser also, or at least check for updates for the 5.5 version.

Hey ThunderSS, Yeah I’m using the o’l 56k method of internet connection. I’ve reloaded the page and it still does it but I haven’t upgraded my browser in awhile maybe that’s the prob, I’ll go and upgrade to see if that help’s. Thanks for the help :) .

Hey Thunder, I downloaded the critical packet off of Microsoft’s website, came back and it’s still doing it. It say’s there was an illegal stack dump or something to that effect with flash.odx or odc, ocd, oxd. well you know what I’m trying to say anyway it seem’s that there might be something wrong with the flashplayer I downloaded I have no idea. Anyway thanks for your help.

I tried the tutorial on my old machine with a dialup connection and IE 5.5, it worked fine. Slow as hell though to load the first time.

Not sure what your problem is. It could be the player or it could be your browser or OS. Maybe one of the comp gurus here has another suggestion to try.

Anybody else having this problem? Or any other problems with the tutorials??

Hey ThunderSS, Just an update to let you know what’s going on. I got it to work once, there seem’s to be something wrong with my player it say’s that there was a page fault or something to that effect in the file flash.ocx, great just my luck :D ! I’m going to try to download the flashplayer again and see if that help’s. Anyway Thanks for the help really :) .

I think the Flash site has a troubleshooting page on it someplace, check that out and see if it is any help. Let me know how you do.

LOL! just watched the new video pretty damn good! There at the start lil made me LOL!with that sun glasses thing! :) :)

I went to the troubleshooting section of the site and read all I could and tried all I could, It came down to the last resort of uninstalling then reinstalling the flashplayer, well long story short after I deleted it I went back to the site and it said that I needed to download flashplayer 6 to view the site and wouldn’t you know it wouldn’t let me download the player, I was pissed :cuss: anyway I finally realized that my Norton trash ben had saved the player from being deleted totally so everything is back to zero. I think I will take my computer over to the repair place and see if they can’t do something. I’ll let you guy’s know how it turn’s out :) . Anyway thanks Thunder for the help and sorry for both………well you know what I mean thanks anyway :D .

Great job, them little tutorials will add a lot of weight to helping the newbies! One I can think of is the proper grip when manual stretching is used! For some reason new people just don’t get it.

I can’t view this latest work of art,

The screen is white and I get the narrative on the bottom about click right or left but that’s it.There isn’t a button to click on visible. I thought it might have been my computer however I can’t view it from any of three different locations I’ve tried.

I’m jonesing to get another look at the authors pecker help me.
